Video: Fighter Gets Beaten by Fans

At HOOKnSHOOT‘s Grand Prix in March 2006, a fighter named Jason Bryant celebrated his submission win over Scottie Newton by taking over the mic and mouthing off to the crowd. It was an innocent bit of heel-play that went terribly wrong, as one fan made like he wanted to shake Bryant’s hand, then pulled him off the entrance ramp and started beating on him. The other fans around them responded by freaking out and throwing punches at whoever was closest. Bryant actually had to fight again later that night in the tournament’s semi-final, where he lost to Heath Pedigo. The best part is that HOOKnSHOOT is apparently using this regrettable episode to promote Bryant’s appearance at their September 27th event. Because at a two-bit local show, anything can happen! Evansville, what!

I think it was the fan who got beaten after he tried that stunt. It's difficult to see after they went down but it sure started with the fan getting beaten around the head by just about everyone within punching range.

To get the record straight. Those where all my friends beating that guy up. I have moved to Las Vegas 8 months ago to train harder. Louisville MMA is the best team in Ky. I left to see what else is out there and travel. Pleas3e if any one wants to talk trash please e-mail me whitelionmma@yahoo.com. I guess no one seen it on TruTV's Most Daring. For the record that was 3 years ago, and Louisville MMA has had more wins and is the most successful team in the area, the only other team around here that has had the same success is Highlander, Jason Bryant hadnt trained with Louisville MMA since early 06, it was all real that nite, the corners were already in the back getting ready for their next fighter. But Jason Bryant left the gym after that, and they haven't seen him since!
