If anyone followed cung Le's career, you know that Frank's arm is not the first broken bone at the foot of cung Le. What Cung did to Frank was better than K.O or submission. Cung destroyed him physically and mentally, Cung humiliated the man and took away the smile after the leg sweep. Well, call it what you want, but Frank himself said "Anyone said Cung doesn't know submission, he put one on my arm tonight"

watched the fight, impressed by shamrocks standup, cung le was good but for a stand up fighter not being able to k.o frank, espesh for some of the digs shamrock took, says to me he aint the hardest hitter, then agin he did break shamrocks arm, b.t.w a fan, broken bones heal harder so sut you geggy!!!! props to both fighters, shamrock for standing with the superior striker and hacking it, and to le for smashing his arm, thats hardcore, but luke, anderson silva would smash le, ..............shame danas a dick and will never work with other organisations tho

cung le is the truely skilled ,not many guys rip it up like him in the cage.If frank is to dumb to take him down thats his fault and even if he did i think cung would be slick enough to get back up....cant wait to see if cung le will take a pay cut and go to the ufc.

I don't believe Shamrock will ever be better when his broken arm is heal. The healed broken arm will be weaker and easy to get break again when strongly impact in a match. I do not think a REMATCH will gain victory for Shamrock anytime soon.

It was a good fight for both idiots. Le and Shamrock was prancing and skipping all night long. 2 above avg fighters in a venue that is plagued with mediocre fighters.

I was there, I'm a huge fan of both but thought Shamrock was going to take it, if the fight was on the ground. If you ask me, whether it be out of pride or toughness, that was pure stupidity as a fighter to take the fight standing up or better yet fight another fighter's fight. WTF were you trying to prove. A win is a win and a lost is a lost. He should've taken it to the ground but he couldn't. Cung Le wrestle in high school and college and knows how to "SPRAWL". Some of you are saying how tuff Shamrock is, anyone is tough but it takes a smart fighter to call it quits due to severe injury. Continuing on would have been plain madness. Ppl are saying if this or that, but the point is the key word is HURT. Cung Le broke his arm, period! When you are in that ring, you trying to hurt them into a beatdown, submission, whatever it takes, you are still HURTING the guy for that win.

I like how you base the quality of the two leagues around Frank's decision to keep the fight in Cung's territory. What the fight showed was either how pride can get an individual in trouble or how to truly test oneself. Not which league is better. What kind of an argument is that?

Hey frank, i thought you realy had him in the 3rd round. those power punches you were given le were awesum and it was a matter of time until le was gona get put to sleep. but unfortunately your arm was broken from all the blocks.Le is an excellent fighter but you are aremuch better and far more powerful. you should have used your ground skills like you always do. why didnt you use your ground sills.

How can you anyone hate on Frank Shamrock who is know for his submissions mostly. He kept it standing probly mostly out of pride. Like a test or something. There were no takedown attempts at all. Shamrock lost the kickboxing match by playing around to much I think.
He even threw a punch with hes broke hand damn! Much respect and really shows what a fighter is ouch:)

Things I've learned this year: Dan Henderson's Greco clinch will expose A. Silva, and Cung Le is a paper tiger and his San Shou/Sanda won't be effective against seasoned MMA competition.

Rumors have surfaced why Shamrock could not continue into the 4th round. It was not his broken arm(same break as Gonzaga did to Couture). The truth being Frank suffered a dehabilitating injury during the fight. His vagina took a severe beating. It was just too battered and bruised to continue.........In his own words "My pussy just hurt too bad to continue" "Although, if I were winning the fight, the injury would NOT of been fight ending. But since I was getting owned out there, I simply took the easy way out. I already used the DQ angle a couple of fights ago, so that was not an option. I thought about going out for the 4 th round and biting Cung or eye gouging or a groin stike....Anything that would of gave me a DQ, instead of a loss.

But, like I said none of these were an option due to the hurting Cung put on my vagina

If Blood Brothers does end up happening it would be the stupidest thing ever. With Ken's background in pro wrestling and Shamrock's showmanship, you just know they are gonna script a lot of it and allow the fight to last atleast a couple of rounds.

I think the fight points out just how far behind EliteXC is behind the UFC. If Frank had been somewhat smart he would have taken the fight to the ground with every oppertunity. Cung Le might be a hell of a good stand-up fighter but so was Kro Cop and I think he proved Kick-boxing is no way to win in the UFC. I have never seen a Champion favored by so much made to look like a fool by an upstart.

Blood Brothers didn't lose any marketability due to Frank's loss because it was nothing more than a sideshow to begin with. Nobody's dumb enough to think that a Frank vs Ken fight is about skill, top competition, etc. If nothing else, Frank's fight with Cung Le showed that he is still a great showman, which is why we would watch the fight in the first place.
