Now, how many of you fans liked Bisping before this fight? That’s what I thought. You’re gonna talk sh*t about him, no matter what he does. If some punk and his cronies did what Rivera did to Bisping, if they did that to me, when we get in that cage, I’m gonna do anything and everything possible to fu*k this bi*ch sissy up and because his crew is on the other side of the cage, I can’t get my hands on them, so if I can spit at them, I will. Who gives a fu*k? I suppose you all wouldn’t do anything like that, huh? I bet most of you had spjit at others in your own lifetimes. I have. When a punk talks shit knowing I can’t get to them, I’ll get to them one way or the other. Any punk talk that kind of trash to me, I’m gonna do my best to fu*k his a*s up.. Just like Bisping did. SO you all hate Bisping. You really think it hurts his feelings? You really think he gives a sh*t what you think? Of course if Rivera and his sissies did that sh*t to you, you wouldn’t have done what Bisping did, right? Yeah, right! Bullsh*t! You just hate Bisping. He beat Rivera’s a*s!

Jorge Rivera and his cornermen deserved what was due. They all participated in quite a campaign against Michael Bisping, yet Bisping never did or said anything adverse to Rivera for him to rant about Bisping. So as far as I’m concerned, Bisping let it loose and wanted Rivera’s a*s so bad that he was going to beat him down, even if a knee popped up. As for Rivera’s crew, screw them sissies. Let Rivera cry about getting his a*s beat. If he wanted t ocry about the knee, he should have had the fight stopped, instead of continuing. That was his choice, so no one can claim that caused him to lose. No, his mouth caused Bisping to beat his a*s. He hates these punks now. They started this crap, but he ended it, didn’t he? They want more, get in the cage with him. He’ll do it to them also. Maybe next time, Rivera will keep his stupid mouth shut, before fighting his next opponent. Unless he likes losing, of course.

@ Videodrome – I gotcha, buddy. I agree that there should definitely be some universality in the application of rules, but I don’t know that we can ever expect it in terms of fan outrage.
I was just saying that the knee might not have looked full power, but it still could have done a lot of damage.

if bisping acted like an honorable gentleman we would all be saying “good for bisping winning. rivera should check himself.” but the reality of the situation is that no matter how much shit talking went on, bisping CLEARLY was the worse sportsman.

People are quick to judge Bisping but fact is he stayed quiet prior to the fight and got caught up in the moment and made a mistake. But put it this way, how many of you would have been able to stay as quiet as Bisping did before the fight when being constantly insulted by your opponent and his camp?

@Karma: If it was one of those “heat of the moment” situations, then Michael Bisping has all the cognitive processing power of a moldy walnut. He has not displayed that he can take as much crap as he dishes out. God forbid he should have fought an asshole like Tito in his trash-talking prime. I guarantee that Michael Bisping would have flung poop on him. Michael Bisping has always been a sad excuse for a man and he does not display the common courtesy one would expect of trash talking in the ring or octagon. Christ, even pro wrestlers are better gentlemen than Bisping.

If you read my previous posts you would see I am not defending Bisping, just arguing how big a deal the knee actually was. I thought that the Noons’ fight against Gurgel was way more blatant and powerful, but no one said shit about it. Everyone is wanting Bisping to pay for what he did, when so many others have been let off the hook for illegal shit they did. People want to call GSP a greaser when there are multiple videos of Anderson Silva wiping his face vaseline all over his body. Just saying everyone thinks they are right when in fact both parties could be right or wrong for that matter.

Oh, I’m sorry, am I the only one who thought he was an adult? Anyone who thinks it’s justifiable to act like Bisping has is/should be in elementary school. So a guy teased you like a damn infant, so that give you the right to act like more of an infant?
How many occasions has he been the one mocking people?
How many times has he claimed to be an “ambassador for the sport?” Or that he’s a “professional?” I don’t care how much he spews those lines, he’s among the last to ever be considered an ambassador or professional representative of MMA, just saying.
And yeah, nobody should have to “ask” that he be fined and suspended. Of course he should be, that goes without saying, really.

@ Videodrome – whether or not the knee was “full power” doesn’t really matter. It is where and how it hit him, and it caught him flush, for sure. And it was illegal. Jorge was clearly concussed afterwards, unless you want to believe he was faking.
How many times have you seen an errant, off-balance punch totally KO someone? It doesn’t need to be totally full power to accomplish its illegal goal.

Regardless of what you think about the pre fight hype, they manner in which bispbing conducted himself after the fight was completely unprofessional. Emotions run high in all competitive sports, athletes at the top level represent their sport, bispbing is a disgrace in that regard. The guy kept claiming he was more mature and talked about taking the high road, then shows a complete lack of maturity, integrity, sportsmanship, and class. Hard to respect the man, or his performance in the cage.

This is actually the first time I’ve ever rooted for Bisping. I can’t stand the guy either, but I also can’t stand the level of disrespect Rivera threw at him for weeks leading up to the fight. He got what he deserved in my opinion. That’s what happens when you don’t know your place, you get put in it. He made the bed, then Bisping made him take a nap in it.

Yay for Jorge! If he hadn’t riled up The Cunt(sp?) with those goofy videos, then we wouldn’t have much to talk about. The fight would have been either a boring decision, or Bisping getting knocked out.

But I would love to see Chael trash talking Bisping. He would literally explode the first time the two were in a room together!

Bisping should be fined for spitting at the corner. It was just as premeditated as Daley’s punch after the bell.

IMO, trash talking is part of the game, getting punched is part of the game, even illegal strikes are sometimes part of the game, getting intentionally spit on is not part of it.

Bisping TKO’d him and should have said “see what happens when you call me out!” But, instead lowered himself below who he said hit below the belt with the trash talk before the fight.

DW needs to make a statement on it.

Bisping is doing damage control. Daley wasnt fired for the punch, he was fired for changing his story and lying the second he knew he was in trouble.
1. it was a completely different fight after the knee.
2. bisping probably would have won anyway, but certainly not like he did. Prior you never saw bisping do anything that made jorge flinch.
3. you could see riviera looked different after the knee, eyes were glazed, movements slower.
4. Bisping riling up the crowd while dr.s attended made him look worse than the actual knee.
5. Bisping will get a pass since he heeded danas warning to cool it. plus the UK expansion is still growing, daley is gone, and hardy looks bad, they need a brit.
6. Bisping is well known for talking a ton of shit himself. the excuse carries no water for him.
7. i understand you are a fighter Karma, but all contact sports involve the same emotional backpack. and in most sports the shit talking happens during the event also, i have still never cheap shotted a person in my life over it. the knee was on a bertuzzi level of bullshit. he was not ‘getting up”, he hadnt even planted a foot to start rising. it was blatently intentional.
8. i could care less who won, i actually picked bisping, but have a hard time when i see that kind of fight. and a harder time listening people convert it into a bar brawl to justify it.

Sometimes before fights people push and poke just a tad to much and it becomes more then a fight. I could feel bad for Jorge if he hadn’t done anything to deserve this but he really woke a sleeping shiesty beast. Like I’ve said before I can’t condone what he did but I can’t condemn it and anyone who can’t understand just a little bit why Bisping may have done the things he did Isn’t human. I went to UFC 110 in Australia last year to see Bisping fight Wanderlei and met shitloads of fighters. When I finally got to meet Bisping I had to beg him for a photo. Chyael Sonnen is more intriguing to me than Belfort. I just found out from a buddy in Australia got ripped off by the Wolfslair Afterparty. He and a bunch of others paid over a hundred bucks to go and and no one showed up and he was denied a refund. At this point, I can now start to detach myself from Btchping. I have tried to stick by him through all of his bulshit, but I’m done. Bring on the madness, Chael!
