MMA is still looking for credibility (think New York) and because of that we need to keep Seagull's name out of it. Royce Gracie used the same kick back in his day, albeit without knocking anyone out. Did Seagull teach it to him too?

the big question mark is the state of Swick's health. I really think Anderson Silva's super kick only works against people who stand there waiting for him to do it, ala Vitor Belfort. No WAY would he have got that on Chael, on Henderson, on any high class non-brazllian. Maybe on Couture because he's old and slow. But seriously guys, anything can happen in a fight, and we're tying coincidence together pretty severely here. Machida was going to beat couture anyway, Silva was going to beat Belfort. @Goat Seagal is a legit Aikido master with a high end pedigree, even ran an Aikikai affiliated dojo in Japan which was fairly impressive for a round eye, at least back then. All of this MMA stuff seems kind of silly though

Silva looks like he's barely trying to hit the bag in the first minute of the video but the sound it makes when he's connecting is so loud. he's pretty good.
