The clip above is from Alistair Overeem‘s forthcoming documentary. The film itself looks decent and seems like it’s going to be interesting. I’m just hoping that Ubereem hasn’t decided to drop his "Demolition Man" monicker in favor of the lesser-used, ambiguously gay nickname, "The Reem."
He should ask UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar about the importance of choosing nicknames wisely. Only recently have fans and pundits forgotten that he actually began his MMA career fighting under the nickname "The Big Pink Pounder."


I’m not an Overeem fan and have done my fair share of bitching about the guy, but it’s not about his skill level or fighting ability…it’s about a multi-year absence from drug-tested competition…while being a belt-holder. That’s just too much for me…doesn’t mean I think the dude can’t fight, it just means there is enough doubt to make me think something’s not on the up-and-up. That absence coupled with his obvious physical change makes most of us wonder…
