Videos: Brock Lesnar Chokes Out Jimmy Fallon, Discusses ‘TUF 13′ and Junior Dos Santos

Not only did Brock Lesnar avoid dropping The Other F-Bomb during yesterday’s appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the former UFC heavyweight champion actually managed to come off as a fairly charming dude. Watch as Lesnar runs through his life story, explains his chest-tattoo and The Ultimate Fighter series, and — as is expected when you have a huge MMA fighter do a TV spot with a pencil-necked geek — chokes Jimmy out to end the segment. The book is called Death-Clutch-Determination-Domination-Survival/dp/0062023128″ target=”_blank”>Death Clutch, and TUF 13 premieres tomorrow night on Spike.

After the jump: Lesnar does a longer and more serious interview with Ariel Helwani, in which he discusses his Ultimate Fighter coaching gig, gives his thoughts on Junior Dos Santos, and tries to make sense of his loss to Cain Velasquez.

Did no one else think it was funny when they kept calling Brock Lesnar a MMA legend? I thought they might have been being ironic at first, but no they weren't. Silly Silly NBC.
DangadaDang- March 29, 2011 at 11:16 am
Speaking of Brock Lesnar is on Sportscenter right now.
LetMeStickItInYourRua- March 29, 2011 at 11:07 am
So Lesnar actually acts like a down to Earth human, which I think he really is, and you still shit on him? No wonder he played the "heel" because no matter what he does you'll all hate him. He could beat Fedor, Overeem, both Nogs, Couture and Jesus in a one night tournament and somebody would still talk shit. If he quits fighting then good for him. He doesn't need fighting and made it further than a good percentage of guys out there. He won and is still winning at life. Jealousy is a bitch!

Tell me more about this "street that you don't know the name of?"

@Uppercut Magnet

Which version of Helwani pitches the bigger tent in your shorts?
Mofo- March 29, 2011 at 10:48 am
Brock was TOTALLY about to say "yeah it's a gay name", about the rear nekked poke. He stopped himself on the "g" sound.

He's learning not to be a redneck in public! Impressive.

Why does the title here say he chokes out Fallon? You got my hopes up for the real thing, not some stupid Fallon SNL skit! Where he can't keep from laughing when he's supposed to be asleep.

saw the interview with helwani yesterday and I really like this humble Brock. If he acted like this all the time I probably would have been a fan a while ago.

He beat my ass.....that's refreshing to hear from a fighter.
DangadaDang- March 29, 2011 at 9:20 am
I'll give Brock this, at least he can handle himself in public pretty well. Hell he even seemed like a pretty cool guy in that vid.

Brock will lose to JDS.

Is it just me or is Helwani looking manlier every video he puts out?

When he first came out, he was this feminine little kid with a huge nose. Now he looks like a jewish guy.
knucklesamitch- March 29, 2011 at 7:42 am
Did Brock tell Fallon that he was fighting Dos Santos on JUNE 3RD? Someone needs a new calendar me thinks.
jimbonics- March 29, 2011 at 7:32 am
Helwani is the man.
google- March 29, 2011 at 7:31 am
Wow, that was refreshing. A fighter talking about a loss and not making a million excuses about it. Maybe Tito should read his book.

"Hey first off Ariola, settle a bet I got goin with Toosch. Are you queer or just Pakistani?"
Mongrel- March 29, 2011 at 7:28 am
For the most part, Brock seems like a decently intelligible person. These interviews showed a seasoned and somewhat humble Brock. But let's face it, he has a cock tattoo'd on his chest.
Hesh to Steel- March 29, 2011 at 6:44 am
Didn't watch either of the interviews, but Lesnar's "growth" isn't really growth, I don't think. I think he was so used to playing the "heel" or whatever from pro wrestling that he tried to do it in the UFC and it didn't work. After that one awkward post fight interview I think he received a talking-to and is now just acting like less of a cartoon character and more like someone who's actually interested in growing their brand. Obviously things like hyping a fight require play-acting and some showmanship in MMA, but it's nowhere NEAR the level of the live-action cartoon that is pro wrestling.

Fallon: "Look at this tattoo that you have on your chest here. What is that?"
the silver hawaiian- March 29, 2011 at 6:23 am
He's so well spoken and not black.
ReX13- March 29, 2011 at 5:59 am
"Make sense" of his loss to Kane? He couldn't stop the Big Red Machine and totally crumbled after the Tombstone. Also, he might have been gassed and set on fire because Kane does that sometimes. There, solved that for him. Hope that helps.
chokeu2- March 29, 2011 at 5:45 am
So my first comment was after only watching the Fallon video. I have to sack up and say that after watching Ariel's video, I have a new respect for the guy. It seems like he's growing up a bit.

"Make sense" of his loss to Cain? He couldn't take a punch and totally crumbled when those punches kept coming. Also, he might have gassed as he was running from Cain so that the pain would stop. There, solved that for him. Hope that helps.
