Videos: “Bully Beatdown” Makes Some Improvements, Belfort Trains For Franklin, + More

Okay, so MTV’s "Bully Beatdown" may not be quite as organic as the first season tried to get us to believe, but does it really matter?  Season two seems to have largely done away with the possibly-scripted bully confrontation scene, and replaced it with the one-on-one interview with "Mayhem" Miller, where this particular bully credits his grandmother for having the toughness to endure the Great Depression of the early nineties.  At least we don’t have to worry about him losing any valuable brain cells when former Brett Rogers-victim Jon Murphy goes to wailing on him.

After the jump, Vitor Belfort does a little bullying of his own in the gym, plus a bizarre entrance that Chuck Liddell would probably rather forget.

(Props: MMA Share)

After Mask (R.I.P.) describes him as "intolerant," you think it can’t get much worse.  Then he comes out to an "Ice, Ice Baby" remake and you realize that you were so very wrong.

Nevermind the bully beatdown fake shit, checkout the Hunt vs Sefo battle back in 01 in the "Fight of the week" and watch some real warriors battle it out!

That entrance is even worse since Randy ended up beating the shit out of Chuck's ass.

Man, the old UFC set was terrible. Silly video entrance packages, silly set, silly pyro, silly elevator, silly posing before finally walking down to the Octagon. Looks like what Strikeforce is today.

I saw that episode with Jon Murphy the other day, and what struck me was how awful Murphy looked. For awhile I thought the bully might actually win this one.

LOL at Mayhem describing Murphy, and saying "with most of his wins by either knockout or submission." Umm yeah, I hope so. It's even less impressive when you look up his record and find he's only got 4 wins to begin with... and 3 losses.

I fucking love Mayhem.

If I was a MMA fighter I would come out like The Undertaker used to back in the WWF days.

I enjoyed last season better --when they dropped by their houses/workplaces. etc. However, the editors need to stop showing the submissions and knockouts as clips b4 the fights are even started. What's the purpose of having the whole fight when you already see what happens thru the episode?

When I saw that entrance before the randy fight it couldn't have given me a more ominous sense of dread for chuck then if they had played taps.

The UFC should up their production like the old days. It especially helps with the crowd.

When you're there live and waiting forever for a fight to begin, all that razzle dazzle chit is amazing. Plus its really nice to see chicks dancing eveywhere. between bouts

Correction, C.P. that was "Too Cold" by V. Ice! Totatally different song as well as different group. DUH! Sorry, I don't mean to be so intolerant, just helping you out.
