Here’s some "Before They Were MMA Stars" footage of Kenny Florian, kicking ass in his second pro fight against Bobby McAndrews. This went down at Mass Destruction 15 (2/21/04, Boston), where Joe Lauzon and Alex Karalexis also picked up wins. Florian would only have one more match — a decision loss to Drew Fickett — before he joined the cast of TUF 1, which would drastically alter the course of his career. The third installment of AllElbows.com’s Muhammed Lawal documentary series takes us back to Mo’s pro debut, a first-round TKO win over Travis Wiuff at Sengoku 5. Lawal was much more concerned about his dancers than his opponent, which freaked out trainer Ryan Parsons. Lawal says his optimum weight is "wherever the money’s at," and there’s nothing more delicious than a fighting/paper sammich.

Last Saturday at a Pure Combat event in Visalia, California, WEC vet Steve Ramirez knocked out a dude named Darvin Wattree in just three seconds, tying Chris Clements’ record for the fastest KO in MMA history. As you’ll see, he saved some time by not tapping gloves with Wattree at any point. Fight starts at the 0:51 mark. Collective "OHHHHHH!"ing from the crowd begins shortly after.
