Dana White’s UFC 96 video blog, ep. 2 – Watch more free videos
In this edition of the UFC 96 video blog, Dana White and the rest of the traveling circus dazzle Deutschland in their promo tour for UFC 99 this summer. ‘But wait a minute,’ you’re saying to yourself, ‘isn’t this video blog supposed to be about hyping this weekend’s event on an entirely different continent?’ To which Dana White would respond: “Fuck yourself, it’s only Wednesday you pussy.”
Highlights of this episode include a touching conversation between White and Wanderlei Silva, who displays the ability to laugh at himself and his Borat-like grasp of the English language, as well as a trip to a weirdo German talk show with a moving stage, and of course an obligatory shot at Tito Ortiz. In other words, a good time is had by all.

There is a trick my old Karate Instructor would do where he would slap two fingers on a person's carotid artory and knock them out. They woke up quick, but basically the disruption of blood flow (with one side pumping and the other shut off for a second) sends the body into "shock" and forces a sort of reboot like concussive brain trauma or any other occurance where there is too much data/stimulus for the brain to process at once. He admitted openly that it was near impossible to perform the finger-to-neck knockout against someone who was actively moving and fighting, citing it more as a parlor trick than something that should really be studied. The above clip is apparently the exception to that rule.

Though this one comment of Stefan Raab was quite funny, the whole situation seemed kinda awkward but on the other hand, this show is possibly the biggest stage to promote something like the UFC over here. I'm quite curious what the audience will make out of this...hopefully over time they will get a better idea of the sport, because right now, when I mention that I am watching UFC and other MMA related events I always get strange looks and people tell me that they once heard there's people fighting to the death and shit like that, can't stand it anymore....that is if they heard about the sport at all.

That looks like a pankration tournament, which would make that punch illegal (body shots only). I think that's why the ref calls out before the guy has even dropped, he's calling a foul...

Looks like that punch hit him right at the base of his jaw more so then just his neck. Regardless, if that punch was thrown 2 inches higher, it would have been lights out
