As we count down to the "Ultimate Fighter" season 9 finale on Spike TV this Saturday night, take a look at some of Diego Sanchez‘s preparations in the gym. Looks like someone plans on countering Clay Guida‘s wrestling with the old fake kick/side kick combo. Good times, good energy.
After the jump, Guida chats with MMACanada.net, whose interviewer simply could not sound more Canadian, and says he isn’t worried about people thinking he’s boring. Dude’s just living to eat, sleep, drink, and punch Diego Sanchez.

I think Clay is scared, this is the most crap he has talked about anyone so far. I would like to see a split decision win for Diego, and some show of respect from both of em. Clay may act like a caveman and his hair may bother people but his "act" has gotten him good attention from promoters, and unlike his apelike brother with one ball at least Clay is in shape and comes to fight, it is hard to hate that.

You can't question Clay when he tosses up "fight of the year" claims. His fight with Heurta a couple years ago is probably one of the best fights in the last 5 years, and will always be a classic banger.

Did they release that video to fool Clay Guida into thinking Diego is a terrible striker who practices some questionable MMA techniques? Because that's what it looks like. Also, Guida's last two fights were total snoozers. His early fights were amazing, but I hope he loses this one.

Ill be rooting for Diego, but Caveman is the shiznit for sure. Anyone who knocks his hustle needs to appreciate the tenacity and strength it takes to "lay and pray" the top fighters in the lightweight division.

I've always hated Diego's weird ass ever since he was on TUF claiming his God chosen destiny to become champion. He's the odd kid in school that thinks he has no friends, because he's too cool for everyone else. The fact that he introduced this training video like he was Jermaine Dupri at the beginning of a rap video confirms his dbag status Guida may not be the most exciting, but you can't deny his skills when you look at his record. gotta love the shout out to the Carpenter's union Let's hope this fight can even happen, cause that was not looking like the 155lb akwardly skinny Diego. he needs to realize his destiny will always be mediocre WW ... hopefully he cries when he loses like he did against Kos

WAR GUIDA Hard to dislike guida, he's humble hard working and always gives it everything he's got. Sanchez couldn't be easier to dislike. He's delusional, arrogant, cocky, weird, and he sounds like a fag when he talks. Plus his last name is sanchez which just sounds greasy and dirty.
