Obviously Mike is competent, otherwise he wouldn’t have been there to have that opportunity, and total congratulations to him for winning. Nobody is invincible, which is what makes MMA so awesome, but I would need a re-match between Faber and Brown to be fully convinced about Brown. Faber was flying around, a little too reckless, and his opponent was obviously much better prepared than he had anticipated. If that elbow had landed, it would have been Brown on the mat. Shoulda, woulda, coulda-but Faber seems like the kind of guy to learn from his mistakes; I would expect a different fight if it comes up again.
