Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next?

Videos: The Hammer Is Back, UFC 100 Fight Day Danavlogs

(Props: MMA Fanhouse)

Win or lose, you can always count on Mark Coleman to give up the emotions after a fight. Taking home his first win in over three years against Stephan Bonnar on Saturday, the Hammer was elated. In the video above, Coleman tells us that he can’t stand being called an old man, and guarantees he’ll be a factor in the UFC light-heavyweight division now that he’s changed his mindset and the way he trains. He also denies gassing out at UFC 100: "I always look tired, I’m playing possum…I was fresh, I got better as the fight went on." You can watch the fight here to see just how fresh he looked.

Below: The UFC 100 fight-day Danavlog, split into two parts. In part one, Frank Fertitta Jr. shows he can curse just as well as Dana, Jens Pulver rocks the sweater vest, Dan Henderson strikes a blow for America, and Diego Sanchez can barely contain his positivity. In part two (which is far more entertaining, by the way), Royce Gracie and Lorenzo Fertitta have to stop Rampage and Rashad from killing each other, Mike Goldberg crosses his fingers for the Buffer 360, Brock Lesnar terrifies a cameraman, Frank Mir is tended to while Lesnar makes his infamous post-fight speech, Dana gives Stephan Bonnar an E for effort, GSP describes his groin injury and has to suffer through a photo-session, and only two fighters show up to the press conference.

Dana manages to look none too happy to put the belt on Brock or talking at the press conference. How amusing."

>>> He's no slouch in the "acting" department. His top dog just pretty put the UFC on the Mainstream Map with his antics(bad or not). He must've had a difficult time trying to act pissed when he was all giddy like a schoolgirl inside....

Did anyone else notice the point around 5:30 to 5:50 where someone in the background said, "Please stop talking", and Dana and GSP both looked up?

I'm guessing Dana now has a PR manager that follows him around...

i think it's a little unfair to criticize GSP for being too nice. it's not his fault he was programmed to defer to humans at all times. (What, you didn't know GSP was an android? come on, what the hell is an "adductor"?)

mir needed to come out blasting in the second round. i would have liked to see him stand and strike a bit more, bummer he slipped and fell back into the death trap.

How is this old fuck not dead yet? I mean seriously.

LOL... Dana just ignored the high5 from photographer.
Nice to see Florian and Guida "hanging out". I mean, they are not beside each other for coincidence.

Man i love Coleman it was great seeing him win Saturday i can see him giving many fighters kittens with his wrestling at LHW and with his improved cardio he might even make a good run to the top contender area.

Ya... Coleman against Machida... a match for the ages. Nice call Juice, laughs.
Juice-Stain- July 14, 2009 at 10:13 am
Coleman vs Machida would be a good fight, Coleman matches up well with him. If anyone could smother the champ for 5 rounds it would be Coleman.

GSP is the man !

I think Alves is just so tuff. He can take a beating! GSP is just to well rounded for most people.

I think GSP is getting better and better competition now, and it is harder to finished elite level fighters. Even for GSP. So the only thing left to do is dominate ! I think GSP might have been able to finish him if he didn't rip his dilbag !

Not that I'm a huge fan of Bonnar by any means, but that was pathetic of Coleman to barge into his opponent's training camp and forcing (Or forced, who knows) Bonnar to train elsewhere. Pretty low-rent move by the Hall-of-Famer and Xtreme Couture.

I agree Wyatt. My problem with GSP is he needs to be more of a finisher and is waaayyy to nice to be an enjoyable character in mma. Coleman is a legend and should be offered a job outside of fighting after maybe 2 more fights.
Wyatt- July 14, 2009 at 6:49 am
Damnit, GSP is just way too nice. Canadians man...freakin' me out.

I hope Coleman does well in the LHW division. If he works on his cardio, he has the wrestling, power and toughness to give a lot of guys problems.
