In the above video interview, Fedor Emelianenko says his contract with M-1 Global is valid for three more fights. He’s currently happy with the contract, but "when it finishes, we’ll see." Emelianenko says he doesn’t think about his legacy, and doesn’t even consider himself to be a great fighter. (Though he couldn’t really name any fighters who were better than him.) He also discusses his involvement in EA’s upcoming MMA video game.

Arianny Celeste's technique may need a lot of work, but the pace she was keeping was impressive. Also, I know she doesn't need great technique because she is doing it for cardio reasons to get in shape...not to kick ass.

I enjoyed all three videos. Except on that knee-pick takedown where his sparring dummy seemed to just collapse without much force. Gotta try that during sparring to see if it would really be effective.

After the contract's up, UFC here he comes! Fedor is the best. He's a fighter who remains humble but fears no man. I do wish he had some more business acumen though.

Did you notice how Fedor mentioned he has 3 fights left on his contract with M-1? So, M-1 basically owns him right now and even if he wanted to accept the UFC offer he probably couldn't -- not without M-1's consent anyway. Although he says he's completely happy with his M-1 contract, he also says, "When it finishes, we'll see." This could be a subtle way of saying he may split with M-1 after three fights, but maybe it's nothing. We'll just have to see.

At the frequency that Fedor fights, by the time his contract with M-1 is up, he'll be way past his prime. So I guess we'll get to see Fedor have 3 more freakshow fights, and then fight a relevant opponent. Whatever. Who cares.

Isn't it interesting that only now we find out that he supposedly has 3 fights left with M-1. Personally, I don't believe much of what Fedor or Vadim say. Given that Fedor is a shareholder in M-1, I highly doubt that he has any exclusive fight contract with them. This 3 fight nonsense is nothing more than their latest smokescreen, only this time it is delivered by Fedor himself, in a thinly veiled attempt to appear credible. I call bullshit.

Those Machida techniques are fine and dandy as long as you are really fast and your opponent has a slow jab. So many Karate techniques are really only applicable by Machida/Bruce Lee like talents.
