Videos: Marius Zaromskis ‘New Incredible Fighter’, Kikuno vs. Dida + More

(Props: OlavDigre via IronLife)

Now that we all know who Marius Zaromskis is, it’s time for fanboys around the world to crown him "the next Anderson Silva" — and this new AC/DC-soundtracked highlight reel makes a pretty strong case for that claim. The UFC needs to sign this dude so he can start head-kicking some of the weak links straight out of their welterweight division. The Whitemare is balls-out excitement, 150% of the time. Believe that.

After the jump: Another highlight reel, for another "next Anderson Silva," and a strange little fight from DREAM.10 that you may not have seen yet, but really should.

(Terry Etim HL)

(Katsunori Kikuno vs. Andre "Dida" Amade)

u guys have no idea what ur talking about. zaro was a +485 underdog and smashed mach. every one of his fights that i seen, ive seen him bring it with killer instinct. the dude is just scary
MegaMegaRoboCop- July 24, 2009 at 3:57 pm
Marius has no lack of killer instinct, that's for sure. Great to see that in a fighter.

is that some sort of witticism in reply to my comment, Fat_Old_and_Drunk? You sir, fail. GTFO

For Marius, dont get me wrong, he is very exciting and would probably put on more then one "fight of the night" if signed by ufc. but he really needs to learn how to finish.

out of all the amazing things he threw only about 40% landed, and out of that 40% only about 10% helped finish the fight.

so like i said, amazingly entertaining fighter, but seems like he has trouble making all the flash pay off.

"He could make a stripper nervous with that smile" - Michael Schiavello + 10...

Kikuno is my new favorite fighter.. dude reminded me of watching the old school Pride days.

Zaromskis definately needs to get signed by the UFC. That dude will put on entertaining fights every time.

And UFC has been the best for so fucking long. What the fuck are you smokin.
UFC is now the best- July 24, 2009 at 10:07 am
Marius Zaromskis looks pretty good. I wouldn't go calling him the next Anderson Silva just yet, even tho his highlight reel was pretty nice. He won the welterweight Dream GP, now lets see him come over to the UFC and handle our welterweights. I wouldn't mind seeing him face GSP in the next year or two, after he proves himself in the UFC and tears through the number one contenders.

Looks like the UFC is now the best after the Affliction fumble.

I am almost tired of seeing Fedor destroy the has beens and never will bes.

Fedor vs. Brock is about the only heavyweight fight I am willing to pay for these days.

"New Incredible Fighter" may be stretching it. I'm more impressed with the guy with the mohawk who took about 4 flush shins to the head and was still going.

Putting Terry Etim in the same category as guys like Kenflo and BJ Penn is a joke. Terry Etim is nowhere near good enough to be called "The Next Anderson Silva". I'm far more impressed with Diego Sanchez at 155 than this guy.

I was a Terry Etim fan from the first time I saw him fight. Thanks for showing a couple clips of him that I haven't seen. Look out BJ and Kenflo.

Great highlights from Terry!

No shit let's see Zaromskis in the UFC. Always trying to finish fights and throwing ko headkicks with both legs.
caffn8d- July 24, 2009 at 8:04 am
Kikuno's stance is great for Kyokushin karate and probably acceptable for kick-heavy opponents in general, but the first boxer he runs into should knock him TFO. Then again, nothing says he can't change his stance to fit the opponent either. Let's just hope he doesn't end up like Koji Oishi did against Nick Diaz.

In any case, that was one of my favorite fights from Dream 10. I'm picking Kikuno via crazy face from now on. ;)

striking on another level by kikuno looks like lyoto doesnt throw to many strikes but when he dicides to strike watch the fuck out
mmmiles9000- July 24, 2009 at 7:52 am
That fight notwithstanding, that stance is a good way to get yourself punched into another dimension.

That smile might really be the secret, too freaky to engage on him?
GSP P4P- July 24, 2009 at 7:42 am
wow
Douchey McDoucherton- July 24, 2009 at 7:41 am
Kikuno and his crazy faces won him that fight.
