Videos: Rampage Pleads, Shogun Trains
“Who knew that not sleeping and not eating could mess with your mental state?” says “Rampage” Jackson in this post-guilty plea interview with the OC Register.
If you had asked me that question before this incident, my answer would have been: everybody. Everybody on the face of the earth knows that not sleeping and not eating will cause you both physical and mental problems, up to and including death. After seeing this video, however, I realize I would have been wrong to say that, because at least one person had to find out the hard way.
In this video from Bad Boy, "Shogun" Rua gets his train on in preparation for his bout with Mark Coleman at UFC 93 next weekend. At least in the gym, this looks more like the old Shogun we all knew and loved, the Grand Theft Title-era Shogun, if you will. Now we just have to wait and see if that transfers into the Octagon after so much time off.

"I guess I was guilty, in a way".
Uh....yeah, Rampage, I guess you were.
WTF?!

Chute Boxe has their own belt system. Once someone receives a black belt, they can open their own gym.
Richard Fitzentite Says:
Shogun and Jose Canseco are the only known Black Belts in Muay Thai.
brandon Says:
Shogun looks slightly less soggy than he did against Forrest. Having said that, he still doesn't look like the shogun from pride
Anonymous Says:
i think his boxing looks much better. he actually has his guard up and it's not nearly as loopy as it used to be. he has lightning quick hands and lots of power in his kicks. his jits looks a little rusty, but other than that, he looks like 2005 shogun. now it's just a training vid, so who knows, but if he looks as good in the coleman fight as he did in this vid, he might even be better than 2005 shogun
sEAn Says:
Coleman... dudes 40-something and whens the last time he fought? btw, what ever happened to pete williams?
Jeff Says:
How can you be fighting mark coleman and not have great wrestlers at your camp training. Go to a real camp shogun....
Anonymous Says:
He is big in the belly area....still not looking like old shogun...
weezite Says:
lol, yeah, because a six-week training camp is going to teach shogun how to defend coleman's takedowns. he should be working on his jiu jitsu from the bottom anyway because that's where he's going to be for most of the fight. he should be working on his wrestling more, but to focus heavily upon it for this fight would be useless.
