Randy Couture Trains for Brock Lesnar – Watch more free videos
In preparation for his bout with Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 on Nov. 15, Randy Couture is doing just about the only thing you can: tussling with big wrestler-types. He looks to be handling them pretty well in this video. Then again, none of these dudes is Brock Lesnar. Just saying.
Below, Chael Sonnen absolutely refuses to complain about his somewhat controversial loss to Paulo Filho and talks about his plan for this Wednesday’s WEC rematch.

Couture by KO in the 1st.
If not, can Randy weather the storm long enough to get inside and put some leather on it? I don't think Randy is overrated, but his carrer has had some rough patches. I think he is focussed and ready for the fight. I just don't think the matchup is favorable for him.
I know Lesnar hasn't shown much striking, but that straight right hand to a lesser-than-Randy opponent in Heath Herring was devastating. I mean he back sommersaulted across the cage with a broken orbital bone.
On the other hand, Randy took an over hand right from Chuck that is still a highlight reel KO.
Lesnar hits like a mack truck, lets just hope that Randy doesn't get that doe-in-the-headlights look and eat a right hand. I want my money's worth after that last disappointing PPV from the UFC.
...don't get me started on Cote!
I agree completely. I think that Couture has good stand-up and Brock will have to respect that. However, once put in the corner, everyone resorts to their strength. I think if Randy starts getting the better of Lesnar, Brock will take him down and try to hold him there; doing just enough to keep the refs from standing them up.
Lesnar by Split Decision...
I like Randy, and think he is a world-class athlete, but I honestly believe Brock will be too much in this one. His size, and strength will serve him well. I believe that sylistically and experience wise Couture could dominate Brock. However, Broock is no one to be taken lightly.
Sure, Couture can probably take him down but can he keep him down???
I don't think so. This may be reflective of a Kimbo/Thompson fight I watched once.
2. lesnar will destroy randy (probably)
I wanted to say that if Brock would lose on decision he should have earned the respect of some critics out there, with going 5 rounds against "the Natural". But for some reason no matter which one of them wins I can't see this one ending on decision. For me its either 1) Randy on TKO or sub 2) Brock on KO or TKO.
Either way I can't wait for the commentator to say "and here we go!"
I don't want him to win either, but this is the same as a 45 year old bantamweight fighter taking on a middleweight fighter with superb wrestling skills
NCAA wrestling is legit. Mir was getting stomped before he pulled out a submission which saved his ass. I see Lesnar riding couture like he rode Heath for three rounds. No sprawl in the world is going to keep Brock from getting a double-leg.
Don't underestimate Randy's age. I hear he actually carries his AARP card on his person these days.
Then we'll act all smart and say, "I can't believe people fell for the UFC's hype machine again. Ya'll was so stupid to think strength and weight is more important than knowledge and technique. Didn't you learn anything at UFC 1? Randy took this fight because he knew he could win, just like when he came out of retirement to beat the now-exposed Sylvia."
I'm actually more excited for this fight than I was for Fedor/Tim, if that's possible.
I heard he was working with Shane Carwin, who i think would do a better job than a dude that looks outta shape and can't seem to make up his mind on what he's doing.
Maybe it's just me.
100% class from Chael Sonnen
