He’s back, and he wants his belt back. In this UFC 106 promo clip, Tito Ortiz says he plans on rebuilding himself towards the light-heavyweight title one fight at time, starting with his upcoming rematch against Forrest Griffin. "Can he withstand the pound…and pound…and poundage that I’m gonna do on him?" Ortiz asks in his usual eloquent style. "I ain’t lookin’ for submissions, I’m gonna look for hurtin’ him." Probably the most interesting part of this clip is the footage at 1:36-1:46 of Griffin storming out of the Octagon following his loss to Anderson Silva, which wasn’t shown in the original UFC 101 broadcast; Ortiz didn’t think that was too cool, by the way. At the end, Tito stares into the camera, breaking the fourth-wall: "I’m willing to die for my cause. Are yuh?"

After injuring his abductor muscle during his title defense against Thiago Alves at UFC 100, Georges St. Pierre is "pretty much 100% now" again and ready to roll against anybody the UFC puts in front of him. It’s looking like his next opponent will be the winner of the Swick/Hardy scrap at UFC 105, and GSP expects that fight to happen in March or April. Also, he won’t watch the Strikeforce show tomorrow night because none of his friends are fighting, and he thinks Mauricio Rua beat Lyoto Machida.

I started to die when Tito caught himself tripping over his dick while talking for the gazillionth time in his life… you see the smirk (doh)… then he attempts to go with the flow with the pound and the poundage… the thing that makes Tito such a doofus is that he truely believes he is still a high level MMA practitioner, and that he is some sort of scholastic juggernaut. Big head does not equal high IQ.
