Though he jacks up his shoulder on tomorrow night’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter, Matt "The Rat" Mitrione is still very much DTF (down to fight). In fact, he tries to convince Coach Rashad that he should be picked to fight next, despite his arm being in a Saran-Wrap cast. Rashad openly calls him "Meathead" now, and casts doubt on his injury. Meanwhile on Team Bumpage, Marcus "Big Baby" Jones is also impatiently awaiting his first match, and becomes convinced that he’ll be picked next. And look, we get a rare glimpse of Wes Sims trying to shake water out of his ear (I think?) as Jones walks past him at the 2:15 mark. The end of the promo still promises a Kimbo return, and vows that fight #5 ends in a "shock result no one saw coming." Rashad is shown crouching over one of his guys in the Octagon while others shout "wake up!" First double-knockout in TUF history?
After the jump: UFC old-schooler Oleg Taktarov stops by BJ Penn‘s gym in Hilo to plug his role in Predators, and Brock Lesnar destroys a few more training partners in preparation for his UFC 106 title defense against Shane Carwin.

But like I said, I'm sure you come here for the comical write-ups and more in-depth articles (The only other site I really look at and read is BloodyElbow, because CP.com and the aforementioned don't fuck around with their research). I'll take a slight delay in receiving my news with facts checked and some actual journalism-prowess as opposed to reading the "JUST SCOOPED: MORE INFORMATION TO COME" BS that the sites I mentioned in my previous post.

C'mon man, cut the Bens some slack. They actually delve into some of their reporting and make phone calls and confirm shit before they post it. Not saying that the fifth grade looking site 5thRound or 5ozs are wrong, but let 'em find out some more info dude.
At least this way you won't get amazing writing like, "...however with today’s annoucement it’s likely that he[Yoshihiro Akiyama] will join the blondie at TapouT Gym if he still intends to train in Sin City." (That gem courtesy of 5thRound) or "More on this story as it develops" with a two sentence blurb over it (5ozs).

Youre taking way too much away from this show by still having it focus on Kimbo Slice. In the beginning of TUF he would have been home by now. Why not talk about the guys who are still in it, and waiting for their chance to fight. The show doesnt have to suck just because he isnt going to fight. Build up something else, I really dont care if Kimbo fights on this show again, UFC management has already said hes going to fight in the UFC, so wheres the anticipation? Who gives a shit if he fights on the show? Lets talk about Nelson, Sims, Jones, and even that dickhead McSweeney.
