MMA Video Tribute: 9 ‘Falling Tree’ Knockouts

Videos: Fight Night Danavlog, Horodecki Talks WEC, + More

The Dana White video blog has once again reared its head to give us a glimpse of the fight night happenings surrounding UFC 106.  Mostly it’s a lot of DW wandering around, shaking hands, going back to the locker room and asking fighters if they’re ready to go (there’s only one right answer to that question), then congratulating the winners and consoling the losers afterwards.  At the 6:55 mark Dana has an uncomfortable encounter with Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson, who insists, "He got robbed," even as White tries to avoid looking at her as best as he can.  The whole conversation proves once again that Ortiz’s bitching and complaining never stops — it never even takes a breather.  Josh Koscheck, as you might imagine, is less than sympathetic.

If all this bores you, just skip to the end to see Ariel Helwani get some extended camera time, this time wisely wearing a shirt not made out of bathrobe material.  Chris Horodecki speaking up, plus an entertaining little fight, await you after the jump.

Recent WEC addition Chris Horodecki talks to MMA Fanhouse about why he signed with Zuffa’s little guy organization, and what he sees in his future now that he’s followed Shawn Tompkins to the Tapout training center.  Everything’s going smoothly, but then Junie Browning just has to find a way to make the camera look his way.  If this surprises you, you have only yourself to blame.

And finally, video from last weekend’s Josh Burkman-Brandon Melendez fight at Throwdown Showdown 5 in the glittering metropolis of Orem, Utah.  It’s not quite expert camera work, but what do you expect?

Shouldn't Junie be in a jail cell somewhere practicing his guard.

Wow. Disco lights, a Chumba-Wumba sound check and two guys rolling in the cage is definitely as real as it gets.

@omunto I thought he said - I'll fight on the guard (not card) Doesn't need too much explanation. That Forest moment with Silva reminded me of Pride - real respect for opponents. Shows what a gentleman Forest is compared to Ortiz. A good ambassador for American MMA.

How is a judge saying you lost big(30-27) being robbed? Sure that judge is an idiot, but you still lost in the eyes of 2/3 judges(and most everybody else). And your whore girlfriend needs to stop injecting collagen into those lips. She's had enough cum injected into them already.

I hate Junie much more than War Machine. In fact, he makes War Machine look like a gentleman. And the most interesting part of the first video was watching Chuck act like a drunken ape (ie: Being his sober self).
