"Not sure who I should send this to, but I thought you would like to see a video from an MMA seminar I went to this past weekend in Charleston, WV. Wandy was in attendance and after demonstrating various techniques, he began sparring with individuals. This was all going pretty well, being that most people understood that he was an animal and respected that at any moment he could destroy their ability to operate their limbs. That is, until a young upstart at the age of 16 chose to show off in front of everyone. It turned out less than favorable for him…Enjoy."
That 16-year-old kid is lucky to be alive after disrespecting Master Silva with his insolent turning side kick. The ensuing bear-slap is pretty epic, and you gotta love how the entire class groans when the kid starts into his Royce Gracie-style heel-chops at the 0:37 mark. I think everyone there learned a valuable lesson at that seminar — when Wanderlei Silva asks you to spar with him, don’t. A reverse angle of the video is after the jump.

commentsOk first off your claim to sparring with VERY respectable fighters makes it sound skeptical, mentioning the fighters and being specific actually would be "cool".
Second the kid through a body triangle at the 50 second mark, watch the first video again.. so stop trolling pointlessly
You are right about Wandy. Though no one thought he was going max speed... at all
Whoever the said the kid had a body triangle is also retarded, thats called a closed guard. Come on you guys are MMA fans don't be retarded(a Hard feat to accomplish)
Some people are dense. Thats all this video is besides a simple sparring session wandy didn't try and knock that kid out or he'd be fucking out. Not to mention the light hammer fists HA. Seriously? He couldnt posted one leg and hit him with a stiff right and that would have been that. Ridiculous people claiming ridiculous shit.
A forensic psychologist might say that there was a lack of supportive active parenting past/present, a general rudimentary understanding of the basics of martial arts training as well as confusion with the use of homophones in the English language, among the other postings.
The boys from Chute Boxe are always hard
Secondly, I love the tool bags in the crowd criticizing every move the kid makes. It sure is easy moaning and groaning and mumbling "oh man...what is he doing?" to your buddy when you're the one sitting and watching.
In closing, ah...to be sixteen and not aware of consequences...
Who ever said they don't like sparring with teenagers is spot on..its a fcukin nightmare...When I was 18 and and 140lb I wouldn't of fcuked with a 34 year old 200lb man with 15 years under his belt cos he would of fcuked me up!! now theres no consequence for these little cunts...we're to afraid to properly fcuk them up......ah the olden days great days when you could beat up people weaker than you and get away with it...shit ive had a few rambling on here..i wouldn't fight wandy to be honest the little, fcuker should of got smashed
i miss pancrase
