Update: The press conference has been delayed an hour, and is now scheduled to start at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT.

With the venue for UFC 147 in jeopardy because of some United Nations bullcrap, UFC president Dana White, middleweight champion Anderson Silva, and champion-in-his-own-mind Chael Sonnen will be hosting a press conference in Rio de Janeiro this morning to announce where and when Silva vs. Sonnen 2 will be taking place. Rumor has it the fight will be bumped to UFC 148, July 7th in Las Vegas, but you’ll just have to watch and see. Sonnen backs it up? He should have lost the decision to Bisping, but didn't because everyone including the judges(huge biase) wanted to see Silva/Sonnen 2. The difference this time around is that Sonnen won't have hist testosterone levels 16x higher than the avg. man=not being able to toss Anderson around for four rounds like a ragdoll. Anderson should destroy him easily.

i think that Chael gets handled this time. he didnt look that sharp against Bisbing. i'm no Silva superfan by any means but he has been a dominate champ for a reason. Chael has pleanty of holes in his game. What are Anderson's?

Yeah, it got delayed. But the cat's out of the bag already...Silva vs. Sonnen 2 has been confirmed for UFC 148, according to signage at the press conference.

~50 minutes ago it said 46minutes, I check back now and it says 42 minutes..
Maybe the UFC is finalising the location for the press conference now.
