Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next?

“We call those pussies ‘quitters’.”

Some questions I had after watching SpikeTV’s “The 25 Tuffest Moments of All Time”…

— Has Forrest Griffin ever made a TV appearance where his face wasn’t covered in scabs and bruises? It’s as if him and Stephan Bonnar showed up to the taping and the producers were like, “Alright, let’s get Stephan into makeup, pronto. Forrest, we’re going to need to lay into your face with a phone book for 15 minutes or so, then rub dirt in your hair. Cool? You’re gonna look super tough.” I know the dude fights for a living and all, but I have a feeling he engages in some high-risk behavior on the side. Just speculating, here. Or maybe his body just doesn’t heal as fast as the average person’s. Maybe he has the opposite of what Wolverine has. Poor guy…

— When Dana White repeatedly refers to the Griffin vs. Bonnar TUF1 finale fight as “The single most important fight in UFC history,” is he intentionally doing it to infuriate Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie, or is he just unaware of how insulting he’s being? I propose that two separate UFC eras be officially established: BD (Before Dana) and AF (Anno Fertitti). That way, Dana can say Griffin/Bonnar was the most important fight in the “UFCAF” era, and there’s no hurt feelings. Maybe I’m just too sensitive, but when I think of Ken watching the show at home, lifting weights and crying, it absolutely breaks my heart.

— Dana’s “Are you a fighter?” pep-talk is #2 on the list, but the Scott Smith/Pete Sell fight from the season 4 finale is only #6?

Come on, that’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen!

— How much blood does Edwin DeWees walk around with, on average? He lost about 12 pints against Gideon Rey…so like, three gallons?
