If Torres wasn’t fighting, but in the commentary box with Mir, we would have heard the slurpy, gagging sound of a deep throat blowjob instead of the verbal homo-erotic declaration of love from Frank.

When torres first got cut, it was bleeding a lot.. they stopped it to wipe it off so they could see the cut… and it was a bad cut.. it was pointing down into the eye so if he had taken more shots it could have tore down into the eye.. thats why they are so particular about cuts in those areas.. they just filled it with vaseline to restrict the bleeding.. besides do you think the break helped Torres or Mizugaki more? did Torres really need a breather? i dont think so.. that dude drives a hybrid (he has unreal conditioning) but props to mizugaki.. that dude can throw some shots

1) Mir nuthugs good fighters
2) Mir is a great color commentator
3) Torres won that fight, if you can’t see that you have no business commenting on fights till you learn a thing or two.
4) Mizugaki was one dangerous dude
5) he didn’t try to give himself time to rest up after the cut, during the fight he also lost his mouth piece and kept battling without it till their was a lull in the action and the ref put it back in.

Mir is a good commentator, but his nuthuggery was a bit much. Be thankful that Tito “I want to tell me what you see, let’s go ahead and see by the fight, what you saw, in the ring.” Ortiz wasn’t commentating. That Torres-Mizugaki fight was epic though. It seems that Torres kryptonite is Japanese Strikers.

big ups to mizugaki he’s got an unbelievable chin (torres does too apparently) and he was just throwing down balls out the whole night, but torres did win signifigantly.

You’re retarded. I remember a time when people were bitching and moaning about Rogan and I actually thought he was doing a decent job. At this point, I don’t think anyone can refute that Joe Rogan is the best color commentator for mma who has never fought in the UFC.

Is there anyone you think would be better?

Torres won for sure…I just didn’t like the pause in action to check the cut. I just can’t help but thinking of Mazzagatti Effect. It’s like Butterfly Effect pertaining to fights.

This fight was far closer than 2 judge’s cards. I would agree that Torres gets the 48-47 decision (1st definitely for Mizugaki, 3rd perhaps) but the love from the commentators was a littile whack. This was a closer fight, and Mizugaki was throwing the more powerful shots, but Torres was pushing the action. I think Torres gets the 3-2.

Oh and now Torres says he couldn’t see and told the ref. Wow, good in-game strategy for future fighters: If you get cut on the brow, immediately tell the ref you can’t see and he’ll give you some time to regroup.

I’m in the middle of watching the Torres fight, because I missed it earlier, and I’m a little confused. So now as long as you’re the favorite and start to bleed a little bit near the eyes they pause to check the cut?

Not saying it mattered much, but Mizugaki was gaining some momentum. But the cut looked pretty small and wasn’t bleeding much, so why the pause?

Do you think they would have given the break if it was on Mizugaki’s face?

No, not at all. His opponent tonight had SLOPPY game. Up and down. He left his chin wide open after every shot he threw and his ground game was deplorable. If he went up against the likes of Garcia or Aldo, he would get decimated.
