On a related note since there is a Jake Shields link, I played the EA MMA game demo. The two middleweight fighters you can use were Shields and Mayhem. Booooring. Apparently no matter who you use in the demo, including Overeem and Lashley as the two heavyweights, takedowns are a huge thing. I used Shields specifically so I wouldn't just be held the entire time, but it didn't matter. Striking sucked, movements were clunky, grappling was a slow ordeal and the character models looked like cartoony caricatures of the actual fighters, especially Mayhem. Guess they figured he's already a cartoon, so why not go the whole way on that? It was just a demo, but from my own experience, I'd say that UFC 2009 was a better product. Pretty maddening when you use a dangerous, powerful striker like Overeem and the speed for a jab takes more time than Lashley crouching and then shooting for the takedown.

It's probably so boring since it has Shieldzzz (I know. Old joke) in the game. Wait until the first UFC game with both Shields and Fitch is released. It'll turn out to be Pong.

Well, cock chestnar is nowhere near top 10 in my list. As far as I am concerned he didn't win his last fight. And how can you have Anderson there and knock down Fedor based on their last performance?

Fedor was dominating Werdum until the one second he left himself open for a quick sub by one of the greatest sub experts out there. Whereas Anderson got outdone in his own relm for pretty much 4.5/5 rounds, and he barely ever sticks his head out to get the fight going. There is no question Fedor is still top dog in my books while Anderson has been shown to be a lot weaker than he's been marketed to be.

C'mon Kimbo! I swing from Fedors nuts with the best of them, but you can't still have him as #1 p4p after the Werdum loss. Top 5? Sure. Love him or hate him, you have to have Silva in there somewhere also.

I'd say something akin to:

1. GSP 2. Silva 3. Aldo 4. Cock 5. Fedor

And Dana White is a moron. He's always trying to get hype going for his fighters (to build legitimacy for his brand) and it often times backfires (a la BJ Penn, Anderson Silva etc...) The best P4P fighters on the planet right now are:

1. Fedor 2. GSP 3. Aldo
