Armfarmer, You'd get divine powers.

Shame Chuck Norris never sweats...

ON 134 Rio – Payout Perspective
- Rousimar Palhares and Dan Miller got robbed. I am going to go on the record. With Toquinho's improved striking, he may drop a few cards as it becomes a part of the arsenal he must have. Once incorporated, if he can also learn to slip strikes to his head, he will rise like a Phoenix.

ON Strike Force

“Titles are a spoil of war. You have to go win battle before you rape the dead of all their belongings.”

ON The UFC on Fox
- There is nothing to say, it's simply an excellent read.

ON Dana White, insensitivity, & gay slurs
- Direct from Quote:
.
"...it is always been the policy at the UFC that the fighters get so many credentials and they can credential whoever the fuck they want, it can be their manager, whoever they want to have in the back with them, they can credential."
.
This does not seem to be the case with Alistair Overeem and Golden Glory. Some accuse me of being insensitive towards Dana, he's the biggest fucking fag there is.
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 10:39 am
ON ProElite
- Things can sometimes be better the second time around. Now stripped of inept managers, lets see if ProElite receives funding at adequate levels. There is enough spread between the birth of MMA and present day for multiple organizations flourish. If not Bellator, who else?
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 10:08 am
ON Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira won't retire
- Schaub is still a kid, Mir is an ex-Champion. In Mir's case his broken leg has had many years to repair - much longer than NOG's knees and hips. For NOG, the clock starts new. I suspect the 1st of the 3 defeats will happen at the hands of Mir if Joe Silva wants to play that card.
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 10:00 am
ON Diego Sanchez is a new man
- Some are slower than others. Partying is no crime, I've had 7 DUI's before turning the corner (GRIN)
.
Mr. Sanchez has convinced me that he has turned the corner all on his own. In Diego's case he ought to read this and learn to drop the God shit. Keep it silent.
.
I've got Diego Sanchez victorious over a silent Matt Hughes. Any guy that parts his hair down the middle, has a mullet, wears paisley, and suspenders deserves to get retired at UFC 137.

ON Cult MMA Documentarist Genghis Con
- High Five, and I will quote "Nothing is forced, nothing is fabricated!" MMA fans will forever love the documentary over the Rocky movies.
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 9:28 am
ON Postcards and Beer-Soaked Press
- These 3 quotes says it all:
.
"Seconds after Big Nog's upset victory, the first cup hit the apron surrounding the Octagon."
.
"After Mauricio "Shogun" Rua's win, one Brazilian reporter on press row watched as a nearly full cup landed upside down directly on the keyboard of his laptop -- an impressive throw, really, and one that taught the rest of us an important lesson."
.
"After Anderson Silva's victory, ESPN.com reporter Chuck Mindenhall and I both immediately closed our laptops and covered them with our bodies,"
.
Dana gets a free pass from me today. That's the way MMA is suppose to be. Beer and pee, flying for free!
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 9:13 am
ON “Warrior” film
-There are two types of warrior movies. One has Bruce Lee, the other has Sylvester Stone. Although both act, one is legit. Looking at if from another perspective. One wears make-up for their entire career, the other doesn't.
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 9:01 am
ON Ryan Jimmo
- Who the fuck is Ryan Jimmo? Of the fighters he beat, I only recognize 3 names. Let's see what happens when he meets Sokoudjou on Oct. 7. The jury is still in deliberation.
XENOPHON- August 31, 2011 at 8:52 am
ON White and Overeem
-There is nothing wrong with the "we pay fighters, not managers" payment scheme. The problem is when you forget the quickest method to get what you want comes from with holding one's payment. I am aware there is no MMA fighter licensed in contract law, so the strategy here is clearly to remove the fighters representation (his management). It's called divide and conquer.
ArmFarmer- August 31, 2011 at 8:43 am
What happens if you add a drop of chuck norris sweat?
blaphtome- August 31, 2011 at 8:42 am
Watching the older battle worn man, walk through a younger/faster/stronger athletes' best offense to score the KO like that was a beautiful thing. Almost like when, well... What I'm trying to say is. If I can change. And you can change. EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE!!!!!
Peetee- August 31, 2011 at 8:17 am
If you mix Silvas teardrop with a drop of Machidas urine and inject it you will live forever.
macreadysshack- August 31, 2011 at 8:15 am
That's awesome. Anderson is the shit. Us repressed non-equatorial types could learn a thing or two from him. And re-watching Good Will Hunting.
Jugger- August 31, 2011 at 7:21 am
I cried too. Big Nog is a battleship that has entertained put his heart out there time and time again. That was his night. Pretty sure that's why Anderson hit high gear so quick in his fight with Okami. He was amped!

I am fine with another man crying. I am pretty sure that I wept when Chuck Liddell lost to Franklin. However, Silva and his "comfort buddy" held a lonnnnnng embrace in that video. His "comfort buddy" even gave him a squeeze from behind towards the end.

... I always knew that Anderson Silva was too smooth to not be gay.
