I guess that is ok, but not every fighter has the presence of mind to plan for the decision in my opinion - like Cerrone who was sucked into wanting the KO to prove his street toughness.
.
Not knocking you, only thinking that I am not a cage fighter, and personally only think of the decisive damage that I can deliver. In the street the only decision happens if one of the two people decide to quit.
.
Then the decision is left to the crowd, and maybe your buddies support - if they feel sorry for their buddy. Since we are talking about Jones vs Rashad. Rashad has done just enough to get a chance at winning his title back. So you win.
.
Come fight night, I don't think Rashad will be able to sustain Jones striking. It's to date worn down most everyone it landed on. As for going toe-to-toe Jones reach is 84.5 in. Compared to Rashad's reach at 75 in., I don't think Rashad had the reach or the timing to come close.
.
Something tells me that Jones already knows this from their training days together. He is just too confident, and wants to put this fight behind him too off-handily to not notice. Don't get be wrong I like Rashad, and his record stands as one of the best...yet after watching fail to put Davis away...he won't have a chance of winning.
Think like that. If you go looking for a fight, you usually get one. If you go looking for a KO, you usually get one. It just is not always guaranteed that you are on the right side of it.
When you have a title shot in the bag if you can go 1-2 more rounds without getting submitted or KO'd. You don't go balls to the walls searching for a KO, you win the fight and move on to the next.
.
I could easily give all but one article of interest a double flush too, but I don't. Maybe bootystar should have flushed that land lady's kid for boosting his wheels, kept the 600 quid in his pocket, and with a bottle of BIG WHISKEY done her ass dirty Sanchez style until the eviction notice arrived.
.
Great, its a bet then. $1 dollar limit. Give me a round that Jones goes down, and I will double it that is Rashad who kisses the vinyl instead!
While 4 cops stood around lecturing, young, off duty soldiers, real crimes were being committed elsewhere.
These guys are acting immature, but seriously?
Go have another donut, you under achieving morons.
Rashad has way more KO power than Jon and in my opinion is faster. Bones simply has flashy, accurate striking, good wrestling, and length over his opponents. If Rashad starts tagging him I bet he starts singing a different tune. We will see. I didn't think anyone had a chance at beating Jones so far except Machida and the dragon showed Jones can be overcome. Rashad will definitely give him a run for his money.
.
ON Tony Ferguson - TUF Sucks. Rookie at best. Hallman has nearly 70 professional fights under his belt. Sticking with Hallman.
.
ON Diaz vs Condit - Yes, Rashad Evans and Phil Davis that dragged on for 25 mostly painstaking minutes. Ready to see two good fighters bring it, old school style. I have not an idea who is going to win, its too close. Finally Joe Silva makes a winner.
.
ON FTC Ends UFC Investigation Regarding Strikeforce Purchase - Scratching head, who initiated this investigation in the first place? Someone, a group of people, or another company must have complained. Who do you think that was? $34 million for the former StrikeForce vs $900 million for part of the UFC, over 7 years. Something is obviously fishy, somewhere. Well, good men will keep looking.
.
ON Brian Ebersole in Chicago. I lived there once, Chicago has the best pizza in the planet. Better than California and New York. As for Italy, their version of pizza is a fucking joke and they know nothing of cold beer by the pitcher. Fuckem, a clear case of the US is best.
.
ON Nelson vs. Werdum - lets see if Big Fat Fuck is as good at grappling as we have been led to believe. No true Fedor fan would bet against Big Country. For the others, you can have Werdumb.
.
ON Mahcida vs Hendo - I like it. Either Machida rises, or he learns to bounce down the ladder a rung. Still, he was the best ever against Jones. Absent the Jones height and length, Hendo's big return might not be so easy if he fails.
.
ON Memo to the UFC/Dana White - QUOTE: "Anonymous doesn’t deal in the business of pirating PPVs, they are hackers acting as social activists. Whether or not you agree with their methods and their message is up to you, but there’s no reason to invite action from them against you and your business, particularly when your website is storing credit card information from your customers. It’s also worth noting that Anonymous is (by their very nature) a decentralized organization, with no control over their individual members’ actions."
.
The UFC will never be able to wipe out piracy completely. As their own employee Joe Rogan likes to state, “you can’t stop the internet.”
.
ON Badr Hari - good bye, soon enough we will be able to say the same fucking thing about that half breed - Jacob Ortiz.
.
ON AG Admits Amateur MMA is not banned in New York - How can amateurs be OK, but professionals are not? Fucking attorneys elected in political office should be banned.
.
ON Ishii in Japan - Ishii that he suffered a cerebral edema, too bad.

ON K-1’s disappearing act in Japan- like boxing, out with the old, in with the new.

ON Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson's UFC 143 Blog - Karma where the fuck is your soon approaching UFC Blog?
Jones, on the other hand is a bitch. What he should have said is "Wow, I am impressed by Rashad's performance tonight. He must really want the chance to get beat by me. Jk guys. But on the real. Phil Davis is a monster and is a fast rising prospect. Tonight he just looked out of his own. Maybe the pressure of headlining a card with millions of fans watching and a title shot on the line got to him. Maybe Rashad has just improved that much. Either way I look forward to the challenge and the better man won tonight."
That is how you show respect, still be somewhat humorous and insinuate you are still the better fighter, without coming off as a complete douche rag. I wish so bad he would get K the F o'd harder than anything and then an extra one after just to shut him up a little.
Dude is a prick, straight up.
