I’m not sure if it’s nostalgia, his love of epic movie series like the Dr. Doolittle franchise or the fact that three is the number of words he can usually string together without screwing up, but Tito Ortiz is calling for yet another trilogy fight.
Conceding defeat without an excuse for the first time in his career when talking about the fact that he will likely never get the third bout with Chuck Liddell that was put off by his recent neck surgery, Ortiz wasted no time in calling for another three-peat fight with the guy he was beaten by in his last Octagon appearance: Forrest Griffin.
"I’ll be back in November. No name yet, but I’d like to throw out Forrest, so if Forrest would like to do a trilogy, it would be awesome," Ortiz recently told MMABay Radio. "We gave two great fights both the times we fought, so I really think that we’ll get a triplefy more exciting than the last two."
Triplefy more exciting? Okaaaayy. Moving on.
Unless Tito has begun speaking in more frequent bursts of broken english and partial sentences it seems like a lot was edited out of the segment, like Tito explaining how he was painted as a bad guy on The Ultimate Fighter due to SPIKE TV’s creative editing techniques. Either MMABay was trying to be ironic, Tito asked them not to publish portions of the interview or maybe their radio show just doesn’t have the technical polish that a show like The Bum Rush does.
Whatever the case may be, the interview is worth sitting through just to hear Tito talk about his cracked skull fractured orbital and herniated discs he used as an excuse revealed he had been suffering from after the loss to Forrest at UFC 106.

commentsTito vs Griffin/Bonnar/Franklin
Who wouldn't love to see Tito and his ever expanding head get beat down by three of the nicest guys in MMA? However DW should consider making Tito wear some kind of cup or glove for his chin, over the past 6-7 years his jawline has become more lethal than his fists.
This is the career that never ends.
It goes on and on my friends.
Tito started talking not knowing what it was,
and he'll continue talking forever just because,
(then repeat back at top)

Disregard, back to the slow as molasses during a canadian winter speed.
Can call it 'trailer bitches gone wild' and sell it to prepubesants on late night tv.
If he would stop taking himself seriously and trying to be professional, he would be more successful. People don't want to see him fight, but they do want to see him talk like a stuttering 7 year-old and make up words on the fly.
Tito, if I may speak directly to you for a moment, you should seriously consider embracing the moron role that you've stumbled into purely by accident. It's funny, genuine and endearing. Fans would like you more and chicks would pity you even more. AND when your body gives out after cracked skulls, broken backs, punctured lungs and crotch rot (from your life outside the ring of course), you can still be a moron for years to come and get plenty of TV time.
Think about it and get back to me.
what about Canseco vs the 60 year-old man? i'd rather see that video.
"Triplefy"
HAHAHAH fucking gold
