— Due to an elbow injury aggravated in training, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic has pulled out of a bizarro submission grappling exhibition match against Ralek Gracie, which was to be held at next Sunday’s DREAM.4 card. Filipovic is still scheduled for an MMA match against Jerome LeBanner at DREAM.5 (July 21st), and DREAM.4 will still feature bouts between Shinya Aoki and Katsuhiko Nagata, Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Melvin Manhoef, and Jason Miller vs. Ronaldo Souza.
— Speaking of LeBanner, he’ll be facing Semmy Schilt in a super heavyweight title match at the K-1 World GP 2008 (June 29th; Fukuoka, Japan). The kickboxing card will also feature a heavyweight title match between Badr Hari and Glaube Fuitosa, and a “super fight” between Peter Aerts and Jan Nortje.
