Nick Diaz half-smiles for maybe the first time in his life after completing the Xterra West Cup Triathlon on Saturday, which involved a one-mile swim, 18 miles of mountain biking, and a 6.2-mile trail run. Due to some difficulties during the biking portion, Diaz only came in 122nd out of 197 racers — but that just meant he had 121 sets of middle-fingers to throw out that day. You can check out photos of Nick’s entire journey here. I wonder how much swimming and biking Scott Smith is getting in to prepare for their fight next month?

the ironman you swin 3,8km, cycle 180 km and runs a marathon 42km…
so stupid mma fans…he is not doing an ironman..just triathlon…
I looked at his time and he is a damn good swimmer ( i am a swimmer so i can tell)..and his bikeridings are bad..and his running are okej with that kind of weight…

Curious, did Nick ever do a full triathalon? Forget the mileages, but I know the 26.2 mi run is the finish. Those people are fucking insane, and Nick certainly fits the insane demographic.

Not questioning his cardio for a second, as 1 swim, 18 trail, 6.2 run is pretty impressive on it’s own, just want to know his level of insanity. Thanks.
