Your Saturday Plans — Bellator 35 and Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson

Yesterday’s UFC on Versus 3 event was just the prelude to a stacked weekend of fights. This Saturday, Bellator’s 4th season kicks off at Tachi Palace Casino & Resort in Lemoore, CA, featuring all four welterweight quarterfinals and the return of Zoila Frausto in a non-title bout against Karina Hallinan. The main card will be broadcast live on MTV2 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.

That show should lead-in nicely to Strikeforce’s “Feijao vs. Henderson” card in Columbus, which features the light-heavyweight title fight between Rafael Cavalcante and Dan Henderson, the women’s 135-pound title fight between Marloes Coenen and Liz Carmouche, and a middleweight scrap between Tim Kennedy and Melvin Manhoef. We’ll be liveblogging the main card, which kicks off on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET. As for Bellator, maybe ReX13 will grace us with his presence and do a recap piece on Sunday. Maybe. No promises. You might have to say his name three times in a mirror first.

If I'm looking at a mirror, it's not so I can say ReX three times.

Unfortunately won't be able to watch it live tomorrow, but I'll be checking the live blog for updates.
