We had neither the time nor interest to watch YAMMA live, so if you want a more detailed recap of the sad spectacle than we had in our results post, we recommend going here or here. But if you want the entire depressing, cut-rate experience boiled down into three minutes, look no further than the “Masters Superfight” between Eric “Butterbean” Esch and Patrick “Pillbottle” Smith. Cheers to Smith for dodging Butterbean’s infamous haymakers; jeers to Esch for not being able to get to his feet after slipping. Smith simply got down next to the 416-pound beached whale and dropped punches until Dan Miragliotta decided that the 200 audience members had gotten their money’s worth. If only ‘Bean could have fallen onto the revolutionary YAMMA incline instead — who knows what could have happened…

apparently mr. smith is not familiar with the kamura…might have saved a few lumps on Le’ Bean’s melon if he was.
i don’t know what’s cuter…a puppy chasing a butterfly…or Le’ Bean throwing what appeared to be low kicks…but could very well have been high kicks for all i know.

You know… butterbean might be not so bad if he wasnt so damn fat. I mean if I wanted to fight professionally I’d drop the the weight. I’m sure if he lost 200lbs he would be fine and not have his ground game consist of being punched in the face until tapping.
and BTW, pat smith is a terrible fighter. A real fighter would have put butterbean out on the ground long before pat did.

Watching YAMMA now and I can barely make it through it. The fighter selection is horrible, the stupid Yamma ring idea is stupid and has many issues of its own, the announcer has a very annoying voice, I could go on and on. Horrible show, I don’t see it lasting.

For the sake of the safety of the fighters in premiere organisations like the UFC I hope Dan Miragliotta never referees another UFC fight again. He obviously has no discretion about when a fighter has ’stopped defending themselves intelligently’.

That was very insulting to watch. Why would you allow that fight to continue after Butterbean was not even defending himself? He was tutleing up and the ref just watched like it was nothing. That is what I call bullshit. The Announcer’s are horrible they could care less about the safety of the fighters and more about blood! What a waste of my time watching a grossly overweight fat body trying to fight. I love the curtain or flag he stole from the local military base and wore around his ass. He is grossly overweight and is a taco away from nitro pills and not haymakers. I saw him in the early nineties and was not impressed then. I heard and thought this guy is over rated and forgot about him. Almost ten years since I saw a fight of his, I was right. He needs to be a bouncer and the local dive and stay out of the ring where being fit in as important as being tough.
