All Fighters on Weight for UFC 120; Cantwell Out With Knee Injury

(Props: caposa)

In case you missed it, all fighters made weight for tomorrow’s UFC 120 event; the numbers are after the jump. Remember to come back to tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET for our tape-delayed "live"-blog of the Spike TV broadcast.

One notable absence from today’s weigh-ins was light-heavyweight Steve Cantwell, who ripped a knee ligament in training yesterday and was forced to withdraw from his fight. The general consensus on this week’s installment of The Bum Rush Radio Show was that Cantwell — on a two-fight losing skid and slated to face scary Bulgarian Stanislav Nedkov — was in serious danger of getting fired after Saturday. So maybe this is for the best…

Yoshihiro Akiyama (185) vs. Michael Bisping (185)
Carlos Condit (170) vs. Dan Hardy (171)
Mike Pyle (170) vs. John Hathaway (171)
Travis Browne (251) vs. Cheick Kongo (228)
Claude Patrick (171) vs. James Wilks (170)

Alexander Gustafsson (204) vs. Cyrille Diabate (204)
Vinicius Quieroz (239) vs. Rob Broughton (257)
Mark Holst (155) vs. Paul Sass (155)
Curt Warburton (154) vs. Spencer Fisher (155)
Fabio Maldonado (204) vs. James McSweeney (205)

People seem to forget. Just because a card isn't loaded with top name and title contention doesn't mean it's a bad card. As always i look forward to this card i think it will be really good. And my countryman Gustafsson is on the card. WAR!
It will be a good card im kinda sure of it.

I wanna see someone do "jazz hands in-yo-face!" at weigh-in's.

So I know about French and eskimo kissing but what is it with these british fighters resting their foreheads on their opponent at weigh in.

Yea...uh, so about the UFC card this weekend...

I'm watching boxing instead. No, I'm not kidding.

If I had to do a weigh in stare down.. I'd just put my hands up in front of my head and keep them stiff and strong.. just to see if they tried to nuzzle their cranium passed my arms just to push their forehead on mine so they could look tough. I think that'd be pretty funny to see.. I'd probably start laughing as he's headbutting my forearms.

Someone should tell Bisping sexysouruses don't play with longnecks.
DazedNConfused- October 15, 2010 at 11:14 am
who trains that hard the day before their actual fight? that they rip a fuckin' ligament?

PS. Bisbing is a ChodeHammer. I hope Sexyama tears that shit up.
DazedNConfused- October 15, 2010 at 11:12 am
So now I don't get to see that crazy Stanislav guy? fuck you Steve Cantwell.
BryanF- October 15, 2010 at 11:08 am
Geez..Bisping looks like Little Foot from Land Before Time

That forehead touching stuff is getting old. Do these guys really think any attempts at intimidation at the weigh-in will have any carryover to the fight 24 hours later?

It doesn't make you look tough. It just makes you look like a clown.

@King Kong Kim............too bad it didn't permanently paralyze his vocal cords too.
King Kong Kim- October 15, 2010 at 10:15 am
That Hendo punch has permanently stretched Bisping's neck.

morningwood - smoke a dick bitch
Morningwood- October 15, 2010 at 9:33 am
I think that's the same posture bisping used in the Hendo fight. I dearly hope for the same result!

I can't imagine having to be that close to an Englishmen and have to smell that breathe. Find some fluoride ya'll!!

@LargeMidget - the answer is yes. Wicked self-burn, btw.

What is sad is that I have no excitement over this main event. What is it really setting up? Leben has been doing way more work in the division now I think, but he has to fight Brian Stann who looks like he was not ready for UFC caliber fighters. This is a horrible main event. Hardy vs Condit holds more clout in my eyes if you were gonna waste a main event, Least they are both two rare strikers of their respective division.

Still nothing funny. Serious CP is boring.

Anywhere I can watch these fights in London?

Apart from at the O2.. because I'm broke.
LargeMidget- October 15, 2010 at 9:14 am
"No, but it's sad that you masturbate to them"

- would be a great burn, just sayin'
LargeMidget- October 15, 2010 at 9:13 am
Is it sad that I got up early to watch these live?
