Brett Rogers Says Kimbo Slice Is 'Gonna Get Roughed Up' in the TUF House + More Strikeforce Press Conference Highlights
Brett Rogers at Strikeforce Press Conference - 6/6/09 - Watch more Funny Videos
I wanted to get this stuff up yesterday but technical issues got in the way; better late than never, right? Anyway, here are some highlights from the Strikeforce press conference following "Lawler vs. Shields" on Saturday night. Above, Brett Rogers takes the mic to discuss his victory over Andrei Arlovski, shake his head about the Kimbo Slice/Ultimate Fighter situation, and call out Alistair Overeem. ("I was planning on picking [Overeem's championship belt] up today," he says. "Hopefully he's keeping it good and clean for me.") Later, Grim says he'd be open to a big-money fight with Fedor, shouts out his new gym, and of course, promises to keep on doin' work.
After the jump: Nick Diaz publicly humiliates a reporter, while Phil Baroni says he just wanted to win for his dad — while his long-suffering wife has been working two jobs to support him — in another emotional press conference appearance.

hope kimbo last long just for the fun of it.
Old_Bald_and_Irish Says:
"That's not funny."
Diaz rules!
Baroni: I love ya, dude. But stop being a downer at these press conferences.
...what a turd in the punch bowl.
Baroni: Showing how strong your chin is?
...not a good gameplan.
Dante Says:
Baroni can cry his way to a new profession. Fucker.
BackbaconBilly Says:
No offense to Baroni fans but damn he's gonna start being known as "Boo Boo Baroni" if he keeps this up.
BuckWild Says:
I hope Kimbo actually gets better in leaps and bounds and becomes a good gate keeper!
Truth2Pwr Says:
That Bret Rogers vs Arlovski fight was about as bad for Strikeforce as the Petruzelli vs Kimbo fiasco was for the Shaws. So now Arlovski is basically a washed up non-draw, and yet who the hell is gonna pay to see Grimm? Nobody! That's who! I think Strikeforce's only hope is to get downright Japanese and start putting together coed combined weight class fights. Grimm, Diaz, and Carano vs Overeem, Shields and Cyborg in an old fashioned steel cage ladder match. Now THAT would be PPV worthy!
AntonG420 Says:
so let me get this straight, Baroni wins and he is this badass dude whos telling nerds to start tanning and how he is slamming all these chicks, and now he loses and all the sudden its a sob story about his dad and wife??? give me a break
mayhem Says:
Phil should get a job if his wife is so over worked... you know a real job.
He could work at Home Depot...or Best Buy....
He could strive to be the BEST EVHA! Or Store Manager, which ever came first.
Hell its not like he trains full time... if he does... oh boy he needs a better camp!

haha "Boo Boo Baroni", catchy as fuck
Savage Says:
haha diaz is funny as hell... i kinda feel bad for baroni but i mean come on dude man up a lil. thats something u say at home to ur wife or close friends not at a press conference. i like watching all of baronis old fights and i know he has heart from watching him fight in pride. he just needs to condition better.
The Harvester Says:
Time to hang em up Baroni and get a job to support your wife and most of all yourself. Moments like these should change a mans outlook on life and realize that things are not the same as they used to be. If he keeps fighting there is gonna be more tears. Work at a gym and become a personal trainer or open your own gym (workout gym not a MMA training Gym). Save youself the emotional turmoil of another defeat.
Fuckyerfrat Says:
Diaz should have slapped that reporter off GP.
TheHuytonHandGrenade Says:
What didthe reporter say to diaz n what did diaz say back i a bit deaf
