Watching only 5 out of the 8 videos posted, I feel like I owe $45. The weird thing is, I wouldn't mind paying for that, unlike your upcoming card. It's an extended undercard, c'mon.

I think Aoki vs Penn would be amazing. Aoki has the better subs, but not by any large amount. I think Penn could handle his sub attempts especially with how flexible he is. Aoki would not be able to handle Penn's hands though. Aoki would get knocked out, third round. Mark it down now, CP. When it happens I want my shirt.

I know its not too much to ask and should be necessary for aspiring completests, but other than that is there any reason to see things like Overeem/Fujita or Gegard/Goodridge?
And then the two fights that look interesting at all (and only comparatively of course), Minowa/Sok and Manhoef/Misaki get shitted on by the jap refs.

I think thats probably a given. Aoki is fun to watch, if you like grappling, but he's not really the complete package BJ is.

I really want to know what the backstory is between Hirota/Aoki. I know it's pretty symbolic to have one champ literally break the other champ, but damn.
We need a clip of Ishii kneeing Yoshida's balls halfway to Osaka too. The commentary for those 10 minutes alone are pure awesome.

Mousasi should have been fighting Overeem that would have been an interesting match and a little more equal, what is the facination with the Japanese and pure miss-match fights? Aoki was a pure dick ( not so much for the arm break ) but for how he acted after, I look forward to seeing someone knee his face into oblivion in the near future.

Ok, Aoki has some skills. He'd surely tie me up like a pretzel and send me home crying. Against BJ, though, fuggetaboutit. BJ's too strong, his boxing is too good, and his grappling is at least as good as Aoki's, albeit not as creative.
I figure if Aoki were to go for some of his off the cuff, unusual grappling interpretations against Penn, he'll learn that they just won't work against an opponent with an equal amount of skill in that dept who happens to be a lot stronger than him.
The match would be a blow out, and Aoki would have his ass wheelchaired onto a plane bound for Japan within eight minutes of fight completion.
Penn would make an example out of this guy, much the same way that GSP made an example out of him.

if anyone thinks Soku threw that fight, then they need to shut up for like 2 seconds and then actually turn the volume on on the video. If you've ever wondered why it's called "getting cracked" it's because of the sound your face will make when someone connects with a punch like Minowa's. Holy shit! I would not be surprised if his jaw is broke from that Hook from Hell.

I knew Shinya was ugly but I didn't know he was a colossal peepee head to boot. I don't see how anyone thinks he would last through the 1st round with BJ. I'll take Bj by 1st round TKO. A more interesting fight would be Aoki vs. Lauzon. I would also like to see how Gegard would fare in the UFC.

I agree 100% with you guys saying that BJ Penn would destroy Aoki on any day that ends with a y and twice on Sunday! I've saw Aoki fight 4 other times and he got KTFO in two of those. Yeah he broke dude's arm but he had a twenty lb advantage. If Aoki knows whats best for him then he needs to keep his bony a$$ in Japan! Hell, he would get pwned by all of the top WEC guys (Aldo, Faber, Brown, Cerrone, Varner. etc.......)
