In late May, Kim Couture caught a domestic violence charge after an argument with her personal assistant turned violent; she’s due in court today to answer the charges. Well, it took four months, but MMANewsLeak finally got their sticky little hands on the police report, which sheds more light on the bizarre situation. As we already knew, Couture and her P.A. first got into an argument at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas. Here’s what happened next…
The victim left Mandalay Bay in a separate vehicle and went to Ms. Couture’s home where the victim had been living for approximately 3 weeks. The victim intended to retrieve her belongings and move out of Ms. Couture’s home before Ms. Couture returned home in order to avoid another confrontation.
As the victim was packing her belongings and preparing to move out, Ms. Couture arrived at the house she shared with the victim. Ms. Couture then went to the victims’ room and once inside the victims’ room, Ms. Couture allegedly blocked the door preventing the victim from leaving and then engaged in a heated argument with the victim, which subsequently led to Ms. Couture knocking/pushing the victim onto the bed. It is alleged that Ms. Couture then began choking and shaking the victim.
When the police arrived at Ms. Couture’s home they heard yelling and what sounded like things being knocked around. Upon entering the victims’ room and they found Ms. Couture standing over the victim in a menacing position. The police then escorted Ms. Couture out of the room and observed marks on the victim’s neck. Ms. Couture was then taken into custody at about 4:30 pm.
It seems that the argument between the victim and Ms. Couture stemmed from the fact that Ms. Couture was upset that the victim wanted to move out of Ms. Couture’s residence.
It seems that the arrangement between Ms. Couture and the victim called for the victim to be employed by Ms. Couture as her personal assistant. The victim was to be paid by Ms. Couture and that the victim would have the opportunity to train and participate as a teammate on Ms. Couture’s women’s MMA fight team.
The victim moved to Las Vegas and for 3 weeks, performed the duties as Ms. Couture’s personal assistant. It seems that part of the friction that developed between the victim and Ms. Couture was that Ms. Couture was extremely controlling; she wouldn’t permit the victim any autonomy; and the implication that Ms. Couture wanted something more from the victim than just personal assistant services.
Christ, Kim Couture sounds like the Ike Turner of bad bosses. "Try to leave me, and I’ll kill your ass," basically. We’re glad that Randy found the courage to get out while he could. On the other hand, if you accept a position as a personal assistant to Kim Couture with the hopes of one day becoming part of her all-girls’ fight team, well, maybe this is just life teaching you a lesson about not being so goddamned stupid.
