10 Struggling MMA Fighters That Will Bounce Back

Jon Jones and Rashad Evans Nearly Came to Blows in a Vegas Club This Week

(Rashad had the last laugh that night when he gave Jones the stink-palm.)

It looks like there’s no love lost between Jon Jones and Rashad Evans.

A pirate at the Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that the former Team Jackson training partners came close to getting in a bar fight this week while in town for the Fighter Summit.

According to the story, Jones was sitting at a table at Surrender nightclub with Tito Ortiz and Evans was sitting at the next table with Georges St-Pierre when a verbal back-and-forth between the pair escalated to the point that the current and former UFC light heavyweight champions “got physical” with each other. Apparently St-Pierre had enough of the childish behavior and the UFC welterweight champ told the pair to take the argument outside.

There’s no word as to whether or not they resolved their issues, but they did continue the discussion elsewhere and Evans tweeted the following this morning, so it seems he’s implying that Jones was the scared homie:

I met Tito in Vegas at Caesar's club, he had bottle service right next to us (this was back in 2005).

Hate all you want, but Tito is a really chill guy and down to earth. He was drinking with our table and bought us a Patron bottle (it didn't hurt we had 6 hot sluts at our table, but he also had 3 hot sluts too)

To put it in perspective, lame ass Pauly Shore was on the other table next to us and he wouldn't even let people take pictures with him. Tito let anyone who asked take a picture, his reason "The fans pay my bills"

The only way to make it worse would be if you somehow worked Chael Sonnen into your posse somehow. At that point DFW would have no choice but to drop you from the promotion and have a Champions tourney to fill the vacant LHW title.
