Don't ask us to explain it, but whenever fighters and fans get together for a group photo, at least one person has to raise their fist like a tough guy. But instead of dropping the ban-hammer on this bizarre phenomenon, we decided to compile the most ridiculous, hilarious, and straight-up awesome MMA fighter fist-pose photos that we could find. That is easily one of the weirdest and goofiest things about MMA fans; the fist-up pose with the fighter. I can’t think of another sport that has a pose that the fans take when they get pictures with the athletes where they mimic the activity they enjoy watching. It’s not just a few guys striking this dopey pose, either. It’s the majority. I can completely understand if you’re a fighter yourself, and you want an image of camaraderie with one of your sporting idols, but if you’re an overweight short order cook who’s never even taken a tae bo class, do the world a favor and keep your fucking fist un-balled when you’re standing next to Anderson Silva.")

In the Joe Rogan picture, the guy behind him goes by the handle Redban, and that's his infamous "bah face". I'm not sure if he still does, but he used to tag along with Rogan as like his personal videographer/bitch, film his stand-up shows, film backstage antics, etc. Redban took the "bah face" gag seriously, and would make a point of doing it EVERY time someone got their picture taken with Rogan... he would literally run from across the room if he had to. Somehow it never gets old.

I got two pictures While UFC 110 was in Australia One with Eddie Bravo and one with a croation fighter that was on the undercard, In both i felt the need to put my fist up in the photo, but i do mma training about twice a week so that makes it ok right? And i had my cagepotato shirt on!
I dont think there is anything wrong with it,,,,,even Rampage does it! along with a bunch of there fighters in them pics!

After all the bickering back and forth Rampage came clean that he hadn't retired from the UFC to make an A-team movie (which would never catch on) but that he actually landed a major role in the Golden Girls movie as Stanley Zbornak (Dorothy's baby-father for those of you unacquainted with the show).

I think the real lesson here is that if you are ever in a ro-sham-bo match with a fighter, you should always choose paper. If those pictures above are any indication, you will get smoked every time if you go for scissors.
