Photo of the Night: Has Brock Lesnar Shrunk?

(We’re guessing Brock is off of the Jack’s Links and Coors Light)

It looks like Roy Nelson isn’t the only UFC heavyweight who could stand to drop down a weight class. Unless they used some trick camerawork to make former WWE and UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar look smaller for this new WWE 12 video game promo for some unknown reason, the formerly massive 34-year-old Webster, South Dakota native has lost considerable mass since his last bout against Cain Velasquez a year ago.

(Video courtesy of YouTube/WWEGames)

Either his his reemerging diverticulitis caused him to lose weight or he has focused more on his cardio this time around. Whatever the reason is for his dramatically leaner look, hopefully his strength isn’t depleted from the transformation or else he could be in for a long (or short) night against Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 on December 30.

Here are some past photos for comparison sake:

Notice that Brock didn’t used to have a neck and his face was less defined.

And here’s his silhouette taken from the WWE 12 game promo.

wow, u people r amazing, where to start. "doping" is not steroids, it is stacking red blood cells for more energy. there also seems to b a contradiction in some of your logic: both gsp and brock take roids, yet gsp is in 170lb and brock is in the 265lb. tim silvia once said he took roids to lean up. if brock takes them to get huge, why is gsp only 170 after his weight cut? and if they r to lean up as silvia sais, then brock is big naturally. fact is, brock couldnt eat normally for several weeks from surgery and in case u dont know, this will make u lose weight. he was on tv for the title fight at 278lb so so much for this thread lol. just bc some of u guys r scrawny doesnt mean u should bash people who r big.

I read an article where he has a health problem.
gilslade- October 26, 2011 at 3:47 pm
He should learn how to fight. With his size and wrestling skills, he should just bum rush everyone he fights and lean on them like Couture did. Look at the Carwin and Velasquez fights. He got his ass kicked in the first round of both fights. Why? Because he is apprehensive with his boxing skills. As soon as he gets tagged he starts backing up and covering his face....and he goes down easy. I don't think losing weight will make him better, if anything he will be worse. He needs to not be afraid to get punched in the face. That will make him better.

This just in: Ill guy loses weight - what could have caused it!? We now go live to our comment section where the spastics are trying to figure it out.

"i fink hesp juspt off the spteroidsp herpaderpaslobber"

"he dun like muscles no more does he?"

"brock lesner is cool he dun does his hunting by me and i fink he gone dun and stoppeid useded his magic drugs"
jozseffrd- October 26, 2011 at 2:49 pm
I think he just weights because lost a whole bunch of weight while he was deadly ill.People who says he takes Steroids should research about the Drug tests UFC fighters have to take. They subject to Random Drug tests and also they get tested after every fight, plus they get tested while in training camp getting ready for a fight. So ppl making pure accusations without any evidence are just silly. These guys get big because work hard and eat like 7-8 times a day over 10000 calories
james1102- October 26, 2011 at 2:15 pm
Anyone here that thinks that Lesner is off the steroids because of his colon you guys ar just dumb. Did you realize steroids are given to NORMAL people to help them recover from many sorts of muscle atrophy diseases? Eg AIDS. And as well after many surgeries to gain strength again. Also to males over 40 to keep their youthful muscularity and sex drives not gain pot bellies etc?
If anything Lesner is on just as much GH and Steroids as before he may not be bale to take the insulin though. And your theories on the drug testing are just dumb. No matter how sophisticated the steroid it effects the bodies natural testosterone to epi-testosterone ratio. If the drug being used works to gain muscle and uses the same receptors to gain strngth and power like steroids it will have the effect on the EPI:TEST ratio. So your conspiracy theory about these designer steroids is just gay comic book jr high talk.
Gh is a different matter it cannot be tested for. Either way there is no proof here that Brock is smaller and if he is big deal. THis is just a stupic reporter or writer hard up for a story and using Brocks name to get his article read.

@jimbonics - BEST, that is about the most fucked up tattoo...if you are one of those who think tattoos are somehow tuff.

I wanted to add that so I don’t come across as some Lesnar hater who spouts crap about an obvious world class athlete just because of some personal misgivings.

Onto my point. Athletes like Brock Lesnar DO NOT do “steroids”. They consume vast amounts of insanely expensive recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) and designer steroids. These can not be found in blood or urine tests using the ineffective methods the UFC employ. AND that is assuming the UFC would even blow the whistle on a cash cow like Lesnar or GSP (who is also a walking pharmaceutical test bed, but you all knew that already I’m sure.)
---------------------------------------------------
point one: nawwww shit playa you wouldn't want to come off like that at all, instead you come off like a freaky ass nuthugging knee jerk reactionary, conspiracy theorist laden retard who needs real meds just to adjust to the world without blowing the top of your head off.
point two:
You are so goddamn full of shit your eyes are brown.
You don't shit from apple butter, and your fucked up theory of why Cock-chest looks like he looks, or how UFC turns a blind eye, and especially how GSP is a "chemical bed" is grade-A , bus riding, window licking retarded. Go fling your monkey shit elsewhere, no one buys it.
The Oracle of MMA- October 26, 2011 at 9:07 am
I'll stop being so negative. What's more likely, in all honesty, is that Brock was born with a myostatin deficiency.
The Oracle of MMA- October 26, 2011 at 9:03 am
Ask Krzysztof Soszynski how many of these fighters are doping. I think he said about 90% or more. And ya you usually can tell by looking. But like I said, who wants to catch a drug using cash cow? That's right... nobody. The head of the Olympic drug testing whatever has gone on record saying the UFC methods are a joke. It's obviously not a 100% proven scientific method but when you can see little bitch titties on GSP (from a few years back) then you kinda put 2 and 2 together. And ya Brock has been huge forever and thank god we know that teenagers and young adults would NEVER do drugs when trying to succeed in sports especially when they were on such secure academic paths to become medical doctors or theoretical physicists like Brock was.

Don't get me wrong. I think all PED's should be legal. What would be more entertaining than Bob Sapp sized guys going at it with featherweight speed and endurance?

@ Oracle

"Pump an animal full of drugs and your chimpanzee turns into a gorilla. Take away the gorilla’s $2500/month drug supply and you are left with a sad little chimp with a cock on his chest."

That quote made me laugh so hard I spilled coffee on the desk. Thank you.
Pen Fifteen- October 26, 2011 at 5:56 am
Oracle, we're all impressed by your deep knowledge of who is/isn't doping in MMA. After all, the "you can tell by looking" test has proven 100% effective in the past, right? I mean, given that Lesnar wasn't already a jacked up monster as a college senior, when he wouldn't have had access to designer stereoids, or even as a 16 year old farm kid, your point is well taken.
Todd M- October 25, 2011 at 9:34 pm
Brock definately is smaller, and he had allready lost some weight when he did TUF, Interesting points you guys bring up, I hope he is not losing size due to his health, I've grown to enjoy the Brocken and would like to see him Hulk Smash The Reem.
The Oracle of MMA- October 25, 2011 at 9:21 pm
Before I say anything let me start by saying that I like Mr. Lesnar. One of his hunting locations is near where I live and while I have never spent time with him personally i've heard he is actually a pretty good guy.

I wanted to add that so I don't come across as some Lesnar hater who spouts crap about an obvious world class athlete just because of some personal misgivings.

Onto my point. Athletes like Brock Lesnar DO NOT do "steroids". They consume vast amounts of insanely expensive recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) and designer steroids. These can not be found in blood or urine tests using the ineffective methods the UFC employ. AND that is assuming the UFC would even blow the whistle on a cash cow like Lesnar or GSP (who is also a walking pharmaceutical test bed, but you all knew that already I'm sure.) Since Lesnar has been battling health problems recently it's obvious his doctors have had him on far less PED's than he is used to and the resulting smaller stature he has today is proof of this.

Pump an animal full of drugs and your chimpanzee turns into a gorilla. Take away the gorilla's $2500/month drug supply and you are left with a sad little chimp with a cock on his chest.
dranokills- October 25, 2011 at 8:49 pm
I agree with capital. Off the roids his body doesn't maintain his HULKing figure, and I bet the doctors told him to stay off the roids......or die.
I don't see this ass clown fighting to much longer, and after this utter destruction from Ubberroid-reem, I predict Brock will disappear. Is there a desert nearby?!?!?!?!?!
fragglerap- October 25, 2011 at 7:56 pm
His name is the selling point, who cares how big he is? Winning is what counts.
Fatty McDickbutts- October 25, 2011 at 7:17 pm
I definitely don't think Brock cut the weight for cardio purposes... one of his biggest selling points back in the day was his freak athleticism in spite of how big he was... Who wants to bet he'll not only be smaller he'll be slower too?
munche- October 25, 2011 at 7:05 pm
Or like everyone fighting at 265+ he realized that he can't be competitive while training and eating like a bodybuilder and focused on building cardio and functional strength?

No big mystery guys
mt59801- October 25, 2011 at 6:13 pm
I still dislike the penis chested warrior, but damm he's going to be faster if he is that small. The 'Reem has looked slow and fat in his last 3 outings(counting non MMA) ,Lesnar was already 10 times faster at his old weight. I'm guessing this is due to missing colon and new diet and not a game plan.
danomite- October 25, 2011 at 6:10 pm
well, over the past two years he's had diverticulitis and had 12 inches of colon removed. I'd say there's a pretty good chance he's lost some weight. Before I had my gallbladder removed I was a walking skeleton because I could hardly eat anything. He's probably had to go through the same thing since developing diverticulitis.
