At this point i think theres been too much rhetoric from Fedor’s camp for him to drop to 205. I think it’s a great sign that he’s finally training with elite level guys and not whatever lackeys he can rustle up from the grain mills of Stary Oskol. could be exactly what his career needs. People calling for a fedor-couture bout, remember, theres about a 14 year age gap between them. Sure, randy’s a genetic anomaly, but at this point he’s hit his wall at almost 50 years old. Fedor is Anderson Silvi’s age, he could rejuvenate his career with new training partners and better nutrition.

Also, he does NOT look like he’s 210 lbs. He’s as thick as Henderson and quite a bit taller from that photo. He’s probably still in the 220s if I had to guess.

@KAMC Hendo does have some power that is true, but this isnt going to be hendo vs bisping… and fedor can take a shot from heavywieghts, i wouldnt call this a fight dan is going to runaway with easily… he does have a good chance to win, but dan is reckless, fedor not so much from the feet. an dan isnt a jui jitsu guy, so i dont see dan subbing feodr with a triangle. will be a good fight, but i think fedor is going to wreck him within 2 rounds. would be nice to see dan pick up a win, but i dont think he will

Fedor-vs-Couture. In all seriousness, both are at that some point in there arc downward and both have stated that they wanted the fight. Fedor against top HW’s I don’t think he has the controlled fury he used to so I would say no. Dos Santos or Lesnar are just too much for him at this point.

So, if this fight is at HW and Fedor weighs in close to LHW, and then wins, does that mean he will be given a shot at the LHW title against the guy he just beat?

Cutting Fedor isn’t a bad idea or that great of an Idea in all honesty. I don’t even know why you would bring up the topic of releasing Fedor from his contract since we already know Zuffa’s more then willing to beat a dead horse. Dan Henderson is the Strikeforce LHW Champion mind you so his job security isn’t even a question.
